Can someone give me a ballpark estimate as to the approximate Fast Pass return time for Radiator Springs Racers if I head straight to the FP line right at opening on a Monday, week of Thanksgiving?

Thanks!

DCA opens at 8:00 am (with EMH), so I would guess your return time will start between somewhere between 9:30 and 10:30 am. I'm assuming you're going to get there pre-rope drop so that you can be in position to head straight to RSR FP's machine as soon as they open the park to the general public.

Ya I just realized EMH is that day. Dang. But that's the only day we can go.

What's the FP line wait going to be like after normal opening rope drop (I hope by rope drop your not referring to the 7AM EMH rope drop.) Reason is, we usually just send a runner and then the runner joins us in line at the ride the group heads to. But if the FP line is going top be 20 or more min, then they either have to forgoe the first ride with the rest of the group or the group will have to wait.

Maybe a better plan for this EMH day would be to send the group straight to RSR (what's the line going to be right after normal rope drop, an hour?) and send the Fast Pass runner to Soarin?

I'm assuming getting there at 7:45 for rope drop or should we get there earlier?

We were there in the middle of October (10/15) on an EMH day. EMH entered at 8:00 and non-EMH entered at 9:00. We entered at 9:00. We did TSMM and Screamin' and then pulled an RSR FP at 10:00. Our return time was 2:00 ish. We were following a RideMax plan that had estimated our FP return time to be 6:25...so it was much earlier than RideMax was forecasting.

Can't remember what the FP line looked like at 9:00 as I knew I didn't want to pull one right away...was hoping for an evening ride.

We were there the end of October and the line right after rope drop on an emh day was 45 minutes. FP return time as rope drop was let in was 9:30- 10:30. They went fast though.

I wouldnt waste an early FP on Soarin' they wont run out early and stand by lines were not bad at all the days we went.

Little tip maybe- The two days we went to CA were both EMH days. We were not staying onsite so we did not have early entry. We went out in front of the gates to wait...VERY early. Both day we happened to chat with workers. Once was a gate person the next was a security person outside the park. Both cast members gave us early entry passes for our whole party. SUPER PIXIE DUST! I'm not saying it will happen for sure but when you actually stop to chat with people it can pay off big time. We had planned on enjoying some coffee while we waited but found ourselves riding RSR 3 times before opening. Might be worth a shot to get up early, worst case you people watch and enjoy a cup of coffee. =)
Have a great trip!

We were there Monday. It was an EMH and super busy day in general. We got there at 8:45 and instead of FP, did the wide right strategy and rode stand by on RSR in 20 minutes.
