ESPN Weekend

Just got a message the ESPN weekend is March 2-4, 2007. Immediately got on the phone a booked the LAST standard view studio at BWV

Have you been to this before? It sounds interesting. Both my DH and I are sports fans. What should we know about this weekend?

We went last year and my oldest loved it. They opened up the wall near RnR and a lot of interactive sports activites, football, BMX racing, baseball, even fishing. They filmed a lot of the ESPN shows from there (Baseball Tonight, ESPN radio) And there were athletes (old and new) and ESPN personalities everywhere and VERY accessible. Both of my kids got lots of autographs. My youngest played touch football with Priest Holmes from the Kansas City Chiefs. And my oldest got his picture taken with the Tampa Bay Cheerleaders.

We LOVE ESPN the Weekend. We have been every year since they started. My son was 6 at the time and actually got in the hot seat on Who wants to be a millionaire with Stuart Scott, Howie Schwab and Dan Patrick. He made quite the impression! When we went last year we saw Howie and he actually remembered my son!! We just bought DVC and the recission ended a couple of days ago. I am waiting until we are in the system to book a studio for that weekend and was hoping to get BWV. I guess I'll have to think of a different resort!
