Has anyone been there for this? I just discovered that it is occurring when we are there.

Can any one share details/ experiences? Is it just at MGM?

I was just going to ask this same question. They had it in July and I was hoping someone was there during that time.

Everything I can find on it shows that it's just at MGM. They will be filming shows and have some ESPN personalities around as well. I am waiting to see if detail comes out as to which show is filmed at what time.

I'm also wondering how crowded it is. Hopefully it's not as bad as Super Soap Weekend.

Anyone there during July that would like to share some info with us?

The ESPN weekend this summer was for the 25th anniversary. I believe that this is one that the host every year. I wish that I was going to be there for the weekend. I would like to see what it is like because my husband works for ESPN. I am going to be there 2 weeks too early.

It occurs at MGM and they will tape some shows in the park. Last time it was right in front of the Sorcerer's hat and I imagine it will be more of the same this time around.

Beyond the ESPN anchors, it's hard to say. Last time they did it, it was just studio work, with the anchors there.

I would imagine there would be....there should be MANY baseball players in the area due to spring training....the Braves' training facility is right on the property...

Sat., Feb 26th happens to be the day that my family and I have planned to go to MGM during our first visit to WDW. I am not a sports fan, does anybody have an opinion on what affect this whole event will have on the crowds?

According to Goofyfreak on the link that I posted, it didn't seem to have much affect on things in July. February shouldn't be worse than July so I think you'll be just fine.
