ESPN The Weekend At MGM

Who has been to ESPN The Weekend? I booked our vacation during this time because my husband and son are sports fanatics.
I would like to know what to expect? Are there any possibilities of autographs? Has anyone been successful in getting any?
From what I have read, there is a lot of standing around watching them make shows...doesn't sound very fun to me but my husband should like it.

Funny...we booked our trip and then realized that was going on while we will be there. My husband is a walking sports encyclopedia and is obsessed with anything sports related.

Sure hope someone can answer your questions, I would love to know what to expect!!

My question is should we avoid this weekend if we are not sports fans and are not able to take advantage of the extra magic hours on 03-04-06?

I am also wondering how other sport fan husbands, or wives have enjoyed this weekend. We are thinking about taking a little trip and that will be the last free weekend we will have for a long time (we are both going back to school)

I have been to the past 3 ESPN weekends. This one is more Baseball oriented, but they conduct several of the shows(Cold Pizza, Around the Horn, Sport Center) all from infront of the Sorcers Hat. They also convert Millionare to sports related that weekend. It has very little effects on the park. But if you loose your husbands they'll probably be standing around me at the Sorcers Hat

Does anyone know the schedule of events for this? I haven't been able to find the particulars anywhere. I will be arriving that Sunday and didnt know if they would have anything that Sunday that my father might be interested in.

I signed up to get the e-mail newslater so I can be kept up to date w/what events they have scheduled. Alas, not arriving until Sunday, I will have missed most of the events, but you never know.
