Fellow Disney Junkies-

I am 20 days away from the next big trip (renting a trailer to be delivered to Fort Wilderness from 8/17-8/25). I'm starting to plan out our days, we did opt for the WPFAM option on a 5 day pass. Based on the kids' preferences and our schedules, we'll use them for Disney Quest twice, Typhoon Lagoon once and at least round of one mini golf. I see that the WPFAM option also allows admission for the ESPN Sports Complex. Is that something anyone would recommend? I have 3 kids (DS-14, DD-11, DS-8), all involved in sports but none bound for professional careers. They don't tend to watch, only play. I'm leaning going there because it appears to be primarily a place to watch sports rather than something interactive, but I don't want to write it off incorrectly. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I have a very good friend who works merchandise there, unless there is a sport or event there you really want to see. I would have to say no. Kinda boring, we visit his store every time we go, but sadly not much to do there.

IMHO, while there are competitions of varying degrees (mainly for youth sports) throughout the year, the one time of year where WWoS (ESPN's Wide World of Sports) is worth checking-out is during the month of March.

Reason being is that I'm a big-time baseball fan, and since WDW is the Spring Training home of the Atlanta Braves, there are always some baseball games going-on that month during fellow Grapefruit League teams such as the NY Yankees, Boston Red Sox, Detroit Tigers, Philiadelphia Phillies, and the St. Louis Cardinals, among others...

You both have confirmed my initial instinct. Thanks so much, maybe another day at TL or DQ will be a better use of our time. 19 days to go.
