ESPN Skybox

DH, BIL, and FIL will be so dissapointed when I tell them the ESPN Skybox is no longer. Is there another sports bar type place for then to hang out?

What other changes have been made on the Magic?

Diversions is now the "sports bar" - I loved the atmosphere, very "male" type furnishings, you know, like what I picture a nice private library or study. Several tvs including a big screen, comfy chairs, some couches, and great staff. They have the best beer selections there too. (says the self proclaimed beer snob)

The old Common Grounds which was the old teen club has been converted to the "Cove Cafe", a coffee bar; the ESPN lounge is now the new teen hangout called "The Stack", and "Diversions" which is now the new sports like bar .... Andy

Does anyone know why they got rid of the Skybox? DH thought it was a really popular place and is surprised they changed it.

Are those the only changes they made on the Magic?

They know that there are plenty of sports nuts on the ship. We had a fantastic time watching the football playoffs in Diversions.

The chairs are comfy and there are TV screens all over the place. They even set up a "tailgate" party in the corner with subs, wings, etc.

They did an oustanding job in designing this space. There's beautiful wood paneling and portholes! These were hidden by the stage that was there previously.

Don't miss going to English Pub night which is held on the last evening. I still smile when I think of the skits they put on.

If my DH, aka the "ESPN Addict" gave it a thumbs up, I'm sure that your family will too.

Can teens be there? - I had looked forward to ESPN Skybox with my boys.

For the Superbowl it was 18+, so we had to watch it in Studio Sea. I thought it was 18+ all the time, but later on I saw entire families there with little kids (who liked the checkers/chess/backgammon tables they have), so I guess not.

After 9pm (I think?) it's adults only.
