ESPN in Downtown Disney

I was hoping that someone could give me some information on the ESPN area of Downtown Disney. My team (the Saints) will be on Monday Night Football the week I am at Disney and we are trying to find somewhere to watch the game. Any suggestions?

You must be thinking of the ESPN Club which is located at Disney Boardwalk Inn.

The ESPN Club is on the Boardwalk, and it's amazing. There is a bar area similar to many sports bars with tons of TVs. There is also a dining area with HUGE TVs, guaranteed to be showing your game. We've watched a few games there, and it's a great atmosphere. In fact, football season is my favorite time to be in WDW- as two of my loves come together! Ahhh...

I was there a couple of years ago when my baseball team (the Mets) was in the playoffs (obviously this was a few year ago, didn't need to say that, hugh )

... anyway, I watched one of the games there and it was great - bunch of people in team shirts/jerseys ... plenty of great bar food and beer

... I must say that it definitely was like being at an ESPN Zone and not a disney restaurant ... not that that is necessarily a good or a bad thing but it did kinda take me out of the whole Disney vibe for a bit

Your Saints will be playing the Falcons and it should be a very good game (sorry, but I am a Falcons fan so I'm hoping you will be disappointed).

The ESPN Club at the Boardwalk is a good place to watch football but realize that it can get crowded. The game starts at 8:30 and I'd be at the restaurant at least by 6:30 to get a seat. No one minds if you have dinner and then just sit for the rest of the night to watch the game. Just tip your server accordingly as he/she will not be able to turn over tables.

The food is decent and the menu is varied. Prices aren't that bad either. More than likely, the game will be on the big screen so you should be able to see it from just about anywhere in the restaurant.
