Considering this for our next trip, wondering what peoples experiences are here, as we are starting to plan out our ADR's need to know if its worth booking and leaving a Garden Grill or Chef Mickey's out (both would be a holiday repeat).

We had lunch there once and it was good, typical bar type food. Planning on having dinner there later this week

I don't believe you can book a reservation at the ESPN Club. We look at it as a great place for a drink and appetizers. It's really nothing "special" that you can't find at any other sports bar in any town. Large arcade, lots of TVs, wings and nachos.

Our meal was good---but nothing different than an Applebees or something else similar. We got wings, burgers and nachos and all were tasty. PP is right though---they don't take ADRs.

Thanks for all your help, we are trying to find new places and this was reccomended to us, how loud does it get?

I didn't notice it was loud when we were there last fall - there for lunch & dinner - & we are ultra sensitive to noise while dining.

Lunch - Reuben was very good; DH got 1/2 ribs & loved them - said they were so flavorable didn't need sauce & he normally likes lots & lots of sauce.

Dinner - Both of us got full rack of ribs (not offered at lunch; only 1/2 rack at lunch). On each plate the ribs hung way over on both ends, plus there was a 2nd layer of ribs - most ribs I've ever seen! However, the spice taste was different than the lunch portion. We couldn't place the taste - strange; didn't really like that well. Don't know if it was fluke or what. Maybe that's why they gave us so many - wanted to get rid of a bad batch!

Service was good both times.

Would definitely go back.

We really enjoyed it. We went for lunch. Walked right in..wasn't loud or crowded at all. I would imagine it would be very different if there was a game going on. They don't take ADR's but they do accept the Dining Plan. DH had the ribs and they were HUGE and very good. I had the rueben and it was also very good. The kiddos enjoyed the kids meals. DH was in sports-heaven. :cloud9:

We try to hit it once every trip. It's not necessarily a Disney environment, and it's typical bar food - but it's good. I'm a big fan of the wings .... oh, and the TVs in the bathrooms! ;)

Like someone said you do not need to make adr's, the food was fine, it was not that loud but maybe if a big game was on I would assume it would get loud. It reminds me of Buffalo Wild Wings.

We make a point to stop in here every trip... they have the best wings! I am very picky about my wing sauce and I think ESPN's is the best! My hubby likes the rueben, it's big and flavorful. Everything else seems to be basic bar 'n grill type food, but they are consistant and that's a good thing!

We went here on a Sunday at the end of September to watch football and it was very loud. We sat in the bar area which is seat yourself, but they have the games on in the dining room too and many people chose to sit in the dining room. If you got there after 12:30, it was difficult to get a seat. They also did a pre-game show with a "host" who was on a mic and they had cameras like they were filming a TV show. It was fun but if you're not into football and are worried about noise, then do not go on Sunday or Monday night. And if you want to see football, get there at opening to get a seat.

If you thought they had good wings, you need to get to Buffalo! :rotfl:

I think it's hit or miss, the best thing about it is you can get in late and without reservations. The beer good, the reuben also good, hamburger, fine, the ceasar salad with chicken, a complete disaster! Maybe that's what I get for ordering salad at a sports bar, but there's no excuse for wilted lettuce greens. I've heard the chicken wings are the best, maybe I'll try those next time.

We at there once. It was decent. When we were there they had video games set up at the tables so you could play while you eat or wait for your food. It was not that crowded when we went, but I hear it gets crowded during big sport nights, like Monday night, sat and sundays.

We have been to ESPN clun numeroustimes being sports junkies. We never have had a real long wait even though they do not accept reservations, but obviously earlier you go the better. We would always arrive there 5-5:30 latest and sat right down.

The ESPN Club is my favorite Table Service restaurant in Walt Disney World and since I stay at the Boardwalk Inn that means it's very easy when I want to eat there. I happen to think their Chicken Wings taste amazing, the Macho Nachos I would order anytime, their Clam Chowder Soup is very good since it's thick and my favorite main item to order is the Dinger Sandwich.

In August/September 2011 when I recently stayed at the Boardwalk Inn I went to the ESPN Club a total of 7 times because I enjoy it that much, so I can't wait to go back there this coming December.

We enjoy it. My DH is a huge sports fan, the food is pretty good too. Nothing amazing though..but quite good, typical bar type food. My favorite that I have had there is..Championship Chicken Sandwich - Grilled Chicken Breast with Sun-dried Tomato Pesto, Greens, and Goat Cheese on Rosemary Focaccia-It was delicious! There are times we just pop in for a drink or two and don't order any food. We just like the atmosphere with all the sports action going on..lol

I've always had a good meal there.. just usually go with the burger and fries. Good atmosphere, good bar food, nice overall experience.

We ate there last trip. We were staying at the Boardwalk and wanted to grab a late bite after wishes. I had a Ruben and thought it was OK but I was really hungry. All in all I would say average bar food. I don't think it is worth a special trip but if you are at the Boardwalk and you are hungry it will do.
