I read they do not take reservations. Will they push some tables together? Looking to go at 6:00 and wondering if we stand a good chance of getting seating together for about 15 of us. thanks

I know they don't take ressies but I would definitely call ahead, or send someone over early. Last time we went with a group that size they could not accomate us - there was a long line & they said they didn't have the "capacity to seat a large group that evening." I don't know if this is the norm, or if there was a special event or other circumstances that day, but it didn't work for us. We ended up staying in line & getting seated all throughout the restaraunt.

Thanks. I wonder if we went earlier if it would help? I picked 6:00 so people could enjoy the Boardwalk after but maybe we should bump it up to 4:00.

Don't forget to see if you are going there the day of a major sporting event because the line to get in will go out the door, because if people will want to watch it from there they will line up very early.

As CR Resort Fan said, you really need to check out the sporting events that night. Not sure when you are going but if it's game seven of the Stanley Cup finals (although with the way the Flyers played Saturday night, I'll be lucky if it goes to a fifth game), it's going to be a lot more crowded than if you go on a night when only the KC Royals are playing the Baltimore Orioles (I can say that as I'm a fan of both of those losers, I mean, teams).

However, if you just want to have a dinner. going at 4:00 is probably the best option.

The lines last week to get in the nights the Magic played the Celtics were way long. We ended up eating lunch there for our party of 5 adults and 3 little guys with only a short wait. Alot of the tables were not even being used and we still waited about 10 minutes. Good nachos nothing else memorable. Go Celtics!

Thank you everyone for your thoughts.

We are going around June 22nd but can be flexible. I hate to admit but I am not a sports fan so I am not even sure how to start checking what is going on.

We are getting married later that week at SBP and the guests wanted to check out where to be. Since there are 11 kids (most into sports) I thought the ESPN club would be the best place on the Boardwalk. I was hoping they could enjoy the magician etc once it gets dark. Is it usually at dusk that the performers start? Thinking of moving our time up to beat the crowds. If worse comes to worse we can get pizza from the quick serve and hopefully get a few tables along the water.

Does anyone know if they show the UFC fights at the ESPN club at Boardwalk?popcorn::
