So, I'm going to be in WDW for the Saints Playoff game and the LSU National Championship game. I was planning on going to the ESPN Club to watch both of the games (Since I can't be at home in the dome I figured it was the next best thing). But will they allow me to stay for the entire game? I plan on ordering dinner, just didn't know if they would get ticked off if we stay after we finish eating.

I haven't been to the ESPN Club since 2005, but I believe they have a bar and restaurant. If you finish eating and they want you to leave your table in the restaurant, move out to the bar.

We are facing the same situation for the Tigers! We are leaving our house early Saturday so we can be checked in that night in time to watch the Saints! LOL.

As for LSU playing, I don't think my hubs will give up WDW to watch my time play (he's from Georgia so alas no Tiger fan  ). Hopefully, you can enjoy the game for me too! I'll be checking updates on my phone! :sad2: Geaux tigers!!!

Yes. But do get there early. We went on a Sunday in September to watch football. We got there around 12pm for 1pm games and got a high top table in the bar area, and there were only 2 or 3 tables left in the whole bar area. There was also a small wait for the dining room by then too. We didn't leave until about 4:30, and everyone else did the same. We did order an appetizer, lunch and dessert (we were on deluxe dining plan) and my BF had a couple beers. But the waitress didn't mind. Same went for the dining room - people stayed at their tables all afternoon watching the games. While I don't think it's frowned upon, I would feel weird about tying up a dining room table. Thats why we stayed in the bar area which is seat yourself. It was a very fun atmosphere and with it being as busy as it was in late September, I'd imagine playoff time would be even more packed.

Yes, you can stay there as long as you'd like. But tip your wait staff accordingly. We always throw and extra 5 per person if we tie up their table for an extended amount of time. Also, get there early!!!

Thanks Guys!!! I think I'll attempt to go about 2 hours before the game starts and sit in the bar. Hopefully that's enough time! And I'll definitely give a generous tip!

Would this be the same advice for Super Bowl Sunday? My hubs needs to watch the game, DD and I will be in Epcot alone : )

In the past I have been to the ESPN Club multiple times to watch Hockey games from the begining to end, so there is no problem staying the whole time while the game is on.

Keep in mind that during playoff time, and especially during the Superbowl, it will be packed. I've seen lines out the door for hours. They do have big screen TVs outside, but that's not the same. Couldn't even sneak into the bar through the gift shop. If you get stuck, try Big River Brewing, they will have the games on too and you might have more luck getting to the bar.

Yes, but make sure he gets there as early as possible. It will be packed for the super bowl. On a regular Sunday during football season this year, early in the season, ESPN was packed an hour and a half before the kick-offs. I've also heard the parks are empty on Super Bowl Sunday - presumably because everyone is watching the game. He might be better off at a hotel lounge or even an off site bar.
