I'm planning a trip for the 1st week of Sept. I know attendance is historically lower at this time.

The Saturday I would like to see my team play. They are playing on ESPN around 4pm. I know I may not be able to hear the audio. But, its early in the season, so there arent many marque match ups at this time and, like I said, my team is on ESPN, so it may be the main game at that time.

Is ESPN Club too crowded on the Fall Saturdays?

I have been there for a bowl, but we got their at opening as the game was early, etc. That was late Dec.

Is there anywhere else I could watch the game if ESPN is overly crowded? I'm staying at the Swan. I know the restaurants near there have bars...Shula's, Kimono's, etc.

Thanks in advance!

Depends on a lot of factors. Who your team is. Who the opposing team is. Where each one is ranked. You should be OK, especially if you get there about an hour earlier since 3:00 is not a prime lunch time.

If all else fails, your room TV will have the game on. There's three ESPN channels at Disney World.

My team is West Virginia. We will be in the top 10, but we are playing ECU.

Its a 4:30 game time on ESPN...

I guess I only have to worry about the 3:30 games, but there isnt a great game on that day really. Although, Miami plays Florida at 8, I think.

I'll have to call that week. I'd like to hear the audio.

Worst case I watch in my room or head to Shula's, etc.

I had to think about who ECU was!! :rotfl2: Sorry to the East Carolina fan out there.

I don't think you will have any problems. Like I said, if you get there about an hour earlier with the off lunch time (and not a ton of people are willing to take a huge chunk out of touring the parks in the middle of the day), you should be OK. There will be a crowd for the game that night, though.

ESPN is really good about getting a game on the TV nearest you and turning up the volume as long as no one else has a problem with it.

Oops - just checked something. There is a NASCAR race on at 7:00 that night. Yes, a Saturday night race. That night is going to be really crowded. Good thing your game is on in the afternoon!

You may be lucky.

We ran into some guys from Ohio at about the same time last year wanting to see OSU. It was a big game at the time, but I don't remember the opponent (sorry...PSU fans here).

I dont believe they got in, but that was a prime time nationally televised game.

I love the place myself.

P.S.... how could that guy not know about East Carolina??
They're the PIRATES!!!

AHEM - female!!!!

I know unusual but I'm the one that says we can't go anywhere on Sundays all year round. Football and NASCAR. At 1:00 most Sundays, the world comes to an end except for what is on the TV.
