ESPN Club at Boardwalk

Has anyone ever been there? Is is really packed for Monday night football? If anyone could tell me about their experiences it would be great. We will be a party of 11 and would like to catch Monday Night Football here.

Yes - they are packed on Monday nights!! I would suggest getting there REALLY early - maybe 5:00-6:00?

Another great option, with much more seating and just as fun, is the All Star Cafe at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex.

We wanted to watch the Vikings/Packers game one Sunday and ESPN was over flowing, so a CM suggested the All Star Cafe. We loved it! There is tons of seating, and a really big arcade in the back! There are TV screens everywhere!

Yes I have been there the food is great and the of course there are plenty of TV's. Monday night is packed and for a party of 11 there is a seperate waiting line. Not sure if you will be seated faster.Enjoy!!!

We usually try to get to ESPN Club at least once during our trip. But I'm always amazed at how long people will stand in line to watch a game! Don't plan on being able to see anything without standing in line for a few hours. I'm not kidding. I for one would vote on bring take out back to the room and watching the game there! No matter the game there's going to be a line.

I can take sports or leave it so it's impossible to convince me that standing in line to watch a football game is the best way to spend my time when I'm at WDW. The way I look at it I can watch Monday Night Football ANY Monday of the football season!

All Star Cafe at Disney Wide World of SPorts Complex - I've never been there before. Do you have to pay admission to get in for the All Star Cafe?

WE didn't pay admission to go in All Star Cafe. Just bought food. Question: how do you know what these places will be showing on their big tvs? I know on Monday night, it is a given - MNF. But what about on Saturdays for college football? There would be many games to choose from - so which will they show?

My favorite team (Alabama) will be playing Oklahoma while we are there and I was wondering......

ESPN is usually packed every night. A Monday night game will just make it more so.

It doesn't matter where you watch the game because the Steelers are going to "spank" the Patriots that night anyway!!!

All kidding aside, the ESPN club is great, we go there to watch the Pens in the playoffs and the place is jumpin. I can't imagine what it would be like for Monday night football.

We'll have to give that All Star Cafe a try sometime.

ok...enough of that... I'll be in WDW november 3-12..... and of course i want to see football on sunday, so my question is, what games do they show? do they have enough tvs to show most of the games??

A couple of years ago we went to ESPN Club on a November Sunday to watch the Bills crush the Redskins. We got there about 2 hours early and were among the last people to get seated without waiting in line. When we were taken to our table, the host asked us if there was a particular game we wanted to see and placed us at a table near the TV that would be showing it.

As it got closer to game time, the pre-game show started and they took a poll (by clapping) of what game people wanted on the big screen. (We were overrun with cheese-heads that day and ended up with the Packers game I think the only sound that was on was for the main game.

Space really was at a premium as game time got close, so you really do need to get there early.

It was a great way to watch the game and we ha a blast. Definitely try the chicken wings- excellent.
