Escaped Pet Lizard

Help! My cousins son was feeding his Anole yesterday with another boy and the top was left off the cage. Of course the lizard escaped and hasn't been seen since. They have put some crickets in the cage and they have gone missing too, she is assuming the lizard is coming back to eat them. They have searched the house, but he's so little and quick they have been unsucessful. Does anyone have a trick to catch this escapee? Her son is devestated by his jail break.

That would FREAK me out! That being said even the little tiny crickets can jump out of a cage that the top has been left off of... or even cracked open. We know this since when we were feeding ours the tiny crickets, we found a couple wondering the house........ YUCK!!

As for finding it, sorry no help. Wish we lived closer, as we would give you ours! We have had that thing for almost 4 years now!!! It was a school project that came home, everyone else that took one home, well they didn't last... ours just keeps kickin'!!
