Escape Weddings & Serving Sets/Toasting Glasses

I know that Disney provides a set for Escape weddings but did anyone use their own?

I'm hopping back and forth between getting our own or just using Disney's

Any suggestions?

We are using our own toasting flutes because my godmother got us a beautiful set as an engagement gift. They have pearls inside the stem and are just lovely.

As of now, we are using whatever Disney gives us for the cake cutting and serving. However, I don't know if Disney just lends them to you, or if you get to keep them. If they are just a loaner set, we will probably buy our own or register for one so that we can have it.

We used our own because my sister expectantly gave them as a gift. DH gave them to my planner before the ceremony, and his father brought them back to the room after the ceremony.

We just used the ones Disney set out for us at the cake table. We did not get to keep them, they're just a normal everyday set.

We used the ones Disney provided because of a few reasons but mostly because it was one less thing we had to pack and worry about breaking.

Also after talking to friends and family about it and asked if that was somthing that still held a lot of meaning to them, most said they have packed up their's and they are collecting dust. LOL

I don't have a nice place to display them either, so I figured we could save ourselves money and the fear of worring about their safty.

Personally I didn't miss having them, I have our sand ceremony, memorial candle and cake topper on display and that is about all I really have room for now.
