Escape wedding; same resort

Hello all, did any of you have an escape wedding and also stay in the same resort with you bride/groom beforehand. I read a few threads where the bride might stay at another resort for the night before the wedding. Well we will both be staying at POR the whole trip. Can anyone give me any advice on how to go about this. Our wedding is at SBP at the Boardwalk. I mean I guess I could get her a room for before the wedding that way we can prepare away from each other. Or our there rooms they can provide for her at the boardwalk she can use? Any suggestions would be great. Thanx

DF and I are both staying at All Star Movies. We have been together forever and our 16 year old dd will be there with us. We are all staying in the room together, but on the night before the wedding, I have booked him a separate room. I think that will give us all more space to get ready and then he won't technically see me before the wedding.

We are also staying at All Star Movies but will be sleeping in different rooms the night before the wedding.

We stayed together at the Boardwalk. The morning off the wedding Rick went off with the guys and got ready at BM's room at Pop. I got ready with my Mom and MOH at my room. I didn't see Rick until I arrived at SBP.

Hmm....well hearing this I will probably book myself a room somewhere just to get our of her way...or maybe just get ready at one of the families rooms. Another question...say I do book her a room at the boardwalk the night before the wedding, the day of the wedding what time does she have to check out? Our wedding is at 2:30 and if she has to check out at 12:00 that would be useless....she needs all the time she can get.

We stayed in the same room the night before the wedding. That morning we went down and met my mom and dad for breakfast at the Whispering Canyon Cafe (sit down restaurant-- needed good food before the long day ahead)-- then DH came to the room, got his tux and stuff to get ready-- and headed to my parents room-- he and my dad got ready together there-- and my mom and I got ready in my room. We didnt see one another again until the wedding. It worked out great!

She would have to be checked out at 11am. So, that wouldn't be very good for her. I would just have her get ready at POR. That way she doesn't have to move all of her wedding stuff to another room. Our wedding is at 2:30 also. I know that is going to leave DF cooling his heels for a little while because he will have to be checked out by 11am, but he is okay with it. We are also meeting before the wedding for pictures, so he won't have to wait very long.

We are staying @ POFQ & will have several rooms with all of the family. I am staying the night before with my mom & the next morning my DF is going to his brothers room to get ready 7 all of the girls are coming to our room.
