Escape Wedding Planning Packet

I just got an e-mail from my sales coordinator saying that I should be getting my planner and packet in about 1 week. But, I'm so excited I can't wait...does anyone know what kind of stuff they're going to send me...what happens next?

They send your annual pass vouchers, flower options and photography options and then your planning worksheets with tons of info and stuff to fill out. I'm waiting until a couple months before to send mine in, because I change my mind so much! It's just a bunch of fun stuff for you to look over! It's exciting! At least I was excited!

I am so excited I just got the email from Doreen with all the info. I am having an escape wedding on April 20 now I just have to sign it and send it back.
But just trying to hold off till this weekend since DF and I are going to sit down and talk budget. I thought we were going simple no more than $6K but he is thinking $10-$15K and if that is the case I would want a wishes wedding.
I already have Randy booked for the day.

We ve just received our contract which we re gonna fax back on monday as i ve read a few bad stories of peoples contracts not showing up when being sent from UK.

How long after Disney receives your contract has everyone had to wait to then get all of their planning info arrive ?? I cant wait to get all of this? Do we also get anything that shows cake options in the pack as well?

well, if you're booking randy, you might want to go with a wishes -- that way you can allocate your money however you want ... instead of getting stuck with an alternate photo shoot that you don't really need....

Not to many choices -- just the cake flavor and filling options (they give you about 6 of each to choose from)... I'm not even sure what it looks like!!

I was interested in getting something different from the standard Escape cake. I told my WC and she said just find something you like and send me a pic of it. You do have to pay extra for it. My cake cost an additional $25 and will look like this:

Doreen just called me yesterday to say she received my signed contract and deposit...I too am now anxiously awaiting my info packet etc...I can't wait to see it!!
We have already booked Randy and I got the MK photo shoot for the morning of! So excited!! My DF doesn't even seem upset about the earlyness of it! tee hee.

I will have to post this weekend to ask you all about officiants and hair/makeup, I have some questions and want to book them next I think...

I'm going out on my lunch today to Home Depot to pick up paint swatches (will use the Disney ones of course!) to pick colors....I have no idea what I want and figured it was a good way to see what looked good together etc....

I have loads of questions actually but usually can't post from work. (don't know why I can now though..hmmm)

Don't count on that price though - we had the round version and were told it would be $125 to change to that design from the standard round cake and then it was another $125 to add a 3rd layer. Pricing is inconsistent, but you can upgrade the cake.

Let me correct my post so not to mislead anyone...the $25 upgrade is for a two layer, round version of the cake I posted. I didn't need 3 layers since we only have 20 guests. I agree about the price being low. I didn't really believe the email from my WC until I got my BEO and sure it enough it was $25. I agree, prices are very inconsistent. I almost wonder if the WC makes a difference, don't know.
