Escape Wedding - Does guest count include children?

Hi Disney Brides, I thinking about having a DFTW with the Escape package. For the Ceremony at the Wedding Gazebo at the YC. I have a question about the max guest count, which is 18, or so it states on the DTFW site. Does that include the wedding party. I'm think about having 8 people in our wedding party (4 bridesmaids, 4 groomsmen) and I have included them in the 18. Is this correct? Thanks.

Yes! Every single person who will be at the wedding counts toward the 18-guest limit except the officiant—if s/he is on Disney's list. Otherwise, s/he counts too.

yes, bridal party is included. Max number is 20 (including bride and groom), and I was told just a few weeks ago that if your officiant partakes in the cake and champagne ceremony, they must be included in your 18. HTH!

Another quick question, and I'm sure if anyone other than the Disney Wedding people can answer this? But I've heard that you can pay extra money to have more people added to the max count. Is this true? Has anyone done this?

Correct—that was an option for a while, but now they're back to a strict guest limit on Escape events.

what ages are they? little ones (like toddlers i think) aren't counted, but we paid for a 7 year old (child "charge" for our buffett) at our recent wishes wedding.

They are my little flower girls, 3 and 4.

I believe kids aged 3 and under are not included in the total.

Officially, children ages 3 and up count toward the total, so both girls would count.
