Escape Wedding and Holidays

I'm looking at dates for my wedding and I was looking 10/11/10 which happens to be Columbus Day. I know the federal offices shut down, but does Disney do escape weddings on Holidays?

*Technically* I believe they do. However, holidays and "special" days tend to get higher requests so you might have some competition!

Columbus Day isn't really a celebrated holiday in Florida. I know banks and the post offices are closed, but most people do not get that day off work like up north so they may not consider it a holiday like Thanksgiving or 4th of July. Just call DFTW and ask and I hope you are able to get your date!

I'm having my wedding on Columbus Day of this year. I'm Wishes, but originally I was Escape and there was no problem having Columbus Day then. They may have changed (this was last August), but I doubt it.

THey do howveer, I know that was one of the "special" days... like the lottery days usually... I also know it may be more money...
