Hi,
So I would really appeciate some insight and ideas from fellow brides- Im kinda struggling and think I have read these boards for so long that I have too many options! Lol
Long story short, we are very lucky and have been given cash for the wedding that we weren't expecting. So, wishes could now be an option. We are coming from the UK and have 20 confirmed guests-adults, and 1 baby under 12 months. We have already booked accomodation and with family staying on site more than easily meet the night minimum required. Wedding will be in August 2013.
Things we want are WP, MK photo shoot, good food, DP. Not interested in a DJ, or for the set up to be traditional wedding. We were thinking Blue Zoo if we went Escape as love the style and food. I would be more than fine with going to a bar etc to dance- or dance hall after the DP.
So, in short - thoughts on venues please and costs- do you think wishes would be do-able for what we want or should I stick to escape?
Thanks :)

Hi! Fellow UK bride here! :) We had a Wishes wedding last October for 19 people and it was wonderful. We had a WP ceremony, GF reception, DP at Sago Cay. We had a lunch buffett and it was fab. Our MK shoot was booked for a few days after the wedding but got cancelled so we are doing it this October instead. Check my PJ in the link below if you like for more :) It was worth every penny!

Hi!!
I have just been quicly looking at your journal- very strange- we share the same name, are also going for 3 weeks, and I have bridesmaid dresses bought in my colours- fushia and turquoise!!! Great minds or what?!!
If you have any photos or Whitehall and the calypso band I would love it! My only concern with Whitehall would be the room colours fitting in with our colours- hence photos. :) Also do you think it would be too hot at Whitehall in August?
Thanks Natalie!! :)

Hi! From my understanding, if you have 20 guests plus you and the groom (22) I believe it exceeds the maximum of 20 for an Escape wedding so you may have to opt for Wishes anyway. I hope that helps...sorry if I misunderstood! :)

Hi Natalie! Great minds certainly do think alike! :) have you joined the Disbrides facebook page as I have lots of photos on there of our reception? We had our reception on the patio in October but you may find it too hot in August. Let me know if you have any other questions :goodvibes

Yep that is correct, Escape max is 18 guests plus Bride & Groom.
