Escape to Neverland - A new Tagliarchy adventure!!

Final day he gave us each a Goofy to take home (we made him sign the price tag!)

Don't know why he loved us, but we sure loved :lovestruc him!

(housekeeping thought there were VIPs in our cabin:lmao:)

Daniel joined us for a while at Palo one night:

and after that 'somehow' we got off the Palo brunch wait list and were given a brunch time before we left the dining room that night.

Just have to say that it was an over the top Pixie Dust experience. So much so that I'm trying not to say too much about ALL the special attention elsewhere on the DIS.

.

OOOO what dreaming pictures.. I can see why you want them as the servers again.. yummy.. hmmmmm.. and to join you at Palo .. wow that is great and womderful pictures.. BTW what did you have to do to get those yummy presents everyday.. is the first pic your sis???/

Okay I am jealous!!!!

The lady in the first pic is Monica (mishoe01 on the DIS) who lives in FL and is a travel agent. The dinner pic also showes Cheri (NotSoLittleMermaid) who lives in AZ in Prescott and is a retired school teacher. Monica I've known for years (actually, as long as I've known you!) through the WISH forum on the DIS. Cheri I 'met' on the WBTA '08 cruise meet thread...about a year before the cruise.

Hi everyone!!! :wave2:
I'm sorry I haven't been here in FOREVER
Now that I don't post in the mornings, I seem to not have much time in the afternoon to post.
I do go on facebook alot, but that's because it's so fast - it takes me under 5 minutes to catch up on what is going on.
I did mention on facebook that I tried to post here a couple of days ago - 3 times, and my computer kept locking up when I hit the "submit" button, and then everything I "copied" disappeared:headache: I don't know if any of you saw that "update" on facebook.

Business is still very slow, but I do have enough work to keep me occupied throughout the day. Then at 3pm is when Katie gets here, and I like to give her my undivided attention :goodvibes

Not to much new going on around here.
I lost my employee of 2 1/2 years, so I am now training a new employee, which is always takes a lot of time. She's a real nice girl, and I think she is going to fit in well around here:thumbsup2

I can't believe we started Lent yesterday - where is the time going?????
I still have my nativity up from Christmas (I love it so much, that I couldn't bring myself to take it down). I'm going to have to put it away though when the Easter decorations come up - that would be a little weird to have a Christmas decoration up in April:laughing:

I need to catch up on everything that is going on around here - I haven't posted since the end of January

I gotta run and eat some lunch, and then get some more stuff done around here. I will try and be a better DISer and post more often.

Have a good rest of the day!!!

ibounce - Great pictures!!!! Daniel is very dreamy!!!!:lovestruc What does he do on the ship?

ibounce - Great pictures!!!! Daniel is very dreamy!!!!:lovestruc What does he do on the ship?

He's a food & beverage officer, so he's over all the bars and restaurants. That's why it's always easy to run into him...he's all over the ship and in every dining room every night!

I've been burried at work with the Olympics and also trying to get my trip organized. We've got all the major transportation done and the all important theater tickets in London! :thumbsup2

Hope your new employee works out!

.

Oooh, what show are you going to see in London? Am I right in thinking you are only in London for 1 night? If so it is a shame you aren't staying longer as london in only 2 hours from me. My friends from work and I will be in London in a few weeks time. We are having a girls day out, afternoon tea at Harrods followed by We Will Rock You. I have seen it twice already, but love it so much I am happy to see it again with them!!

Well, I'm on day 5 of getting my life back in order fitness wise. Many of you may remember that I was doing real awesome with my walking, and I was up to walking 6 miles, and training myself to walk the Disney 1/2 Marathon. What you don't know, is that when Kevin lost his job, I completely stopped working out - I got in a total slump!!! I stepped on the Wii Fit the other night, and it said that it had been 344 days since my last time using that  I knew it had almost been a year, but when you see that number, it's like:eek::eek:

So, Monday morning I started getting up at 5:30am and working out again, and preparing myself to start walking outside once the time changes (I don't like walking in the dark). I started watching what I am eating again, which is also something I didn't do when Kevin was unemployeed. When I would spend the extra money to buy fresh fruits and vegetables, I would only buy enough for the girls - I didn't want to spend the extra money. I don't consider what I do with a food a diet, just a way of life. I am already feeling better, and less sluggish:thumbsup2 I gained almost 6lbs in my hiatas, and became alot less toned, and I'm hoping I can reverse that within the next couple of months {{fingers crossed}}. If not, so be it, I did it to myself, and I need to face it.

Working out is something I really need to do to help with my Raynauds too. It will help with my circulation, and hopefully help me not have any more flare-ups.

Speaking of that, I go to the Rheumatologist for the first time on Tuesday. I'm very curious on what he has to say about what is going on with me, and with my negative blood test (the test shows there's something not right within me, but they don't know what). I'm sure he's going to have me to take several tests, and if they don't show much, then Kevin has already said we are going to take a trip to Mayo's and see what they have to say. So, only time will tell!!!!

What are you all doing this weekend?
We are doing much of anything.
Tonight we are going to Station of the Cross at 7pm.
Tomorrow I work, and then just hanging out at home - maybe watch a movie
Sunday, hang out at home again - I have a lot to get caught up on:rolleyes:
So, pretty low key!!!

Well, I gotta run and get back to work.
Have a good rest of the day everyone!!!

Enjoyed the photos in above posts.

Slo--- good for you getting back into shape. I wonder if you have a couple of other auto-immune issues. There are several in my family that have multiple diagnoses.

We were going to do tea at Harrods, but switched it to a hotel in Kennsington instead. We are seeing Love Never Dies (the new Andrew Lloyd Webber). My friend was hoping to hit the Sat matinee of We Will Rock You, but gave it up so we could do tea on Saturday (she has also seen it a couple of times already). Sunday will be running around on the hop on/hop off bus, as my SIL has never been there and we figured this would be the best thing to do with only one day...just so she can get a feel for the place.

So Sat we fly in from Barcelona, check in at the B&B, go to Royalsomething Hotel for tea (with Custard Tart) and hit Harrods till it's time for the theater.

We fly home Monday morning.

.

Sounce like fun Ibouncetoo!! We aren't going on holiday this summer so we plan on seeing a few West End shows then, Love Never Dies and Oliver are top of my list!! If you only have 1 day to see London I really recommend a trip on the London Eye. It is a massive wheel on the Embankment by the Houses of Parlament. You sit in an enclosed pod and the views are amazing, you get to see the whole of the city from up there.

Slo - I too have just decided to get back into my fitness and dieting programme. I kind of gave up due to the stress at work. But after the last inspection the stress has gone so I will get back into it now. As for plans for the weekend yesterday I was really poorly, I have the Nuro Virus (a winter vomiting bug that is spreading though the country and shutting down several hospital wards.) If you get it you just have to wait it out as there is no medicine to help! So yesterday I was really sick, today I feel a little better but am in bed all day as I still can't eat anything. Yuk, I hate beeing poorly, especially in my school holiday time!!

DanaUK - I hope you get to feeling better soon.

Slo - sorry work has been slow. But it does sound like you are taking time to focus on yourself and your health which is wonderful! I need to do more of that. Between work and the kids - my DH and I have very little time to focus on us.

Not much going on here. The pool remodel is finished and we like the way it looks. We are getting a salt system (it is installed, just not hooked up yet - they wait a month with regular chlorine before turned a 'new' pool to salt).

What a snowy wonderland around here.
The snow is heavy, but it is very very pretty - and that is coming from someone that hates winter!!!!

How was everyone's weekend?
Mine was okay - busy as normal:rolleyes:
I've been spending alot of time at church with Lent.
Wednesday was Ash Wednesday
Friday was Stations of the Cross
Saturday was Mass
Sunday was discussion with the priest and some others on way to implement more adult formation programs and family formation programs. This will be a challenge, but we are hoping it can be done :wizard:

Belle - It's possible I could have more than one diagnosis, especially when my blood test came up negative. I am keeping a very open mind to everything, and have prepared myself for news I may not want to hear. With my family and my church, I know that whatever I have, bad, or not so bad, I will face it head on:thumbsup2

ibounce - Your trip sounds like it's going to be lots of fun!!!!:cool1:

Danauk - I'm sorry to hear you aren't feeling well  I hope you feel better soon!!!!:wizard:
**Good luck with staying on the fitness track - we will have to be each other's cheerleaders :cheer2:

BB - I'm glad the pool is done, and that you are happy with it:)
**I understand how finding time is never easy. For me, early in the morning is best, because that's when I can exercise in peace and quiet, and not take time away from anything else. The only downfall to this, is that I'm very tired by 9pm, and because I need my 7-8 hours of sleep, I go to bed then or slightly later. I wish I could have about 5 mores tacked on the day so I could do more stuff

Well, it's time to get to work
Have a good rest of the day!!!

Tonight is my first Rheumatologist appointment.
I sure hope I don't have to wait to long, because I need to get home to help Stephanie with her homework.
If it does go long, I'm going prepared - I have PotC3 on my ipod, and that is 3 hours long - I sure hope I'm not waiting that long :upsidedow

I just got a messge from my college employee telling me she's coming home for Spring Break - I"m so excited!!! I'm going to schedule her a couple of days so I get a break from this place. One thing I'm going to do is pull Stephanie out of school on that Friday, and take her to the Field Museum - just the two of us!!!! It will be a great day, and I'm not going to feel guilty taking her out of school, because she going somewhere educational :thumbsup2

Well, I must finish my lunch and get back to work.
Have a great day today everyone!!!

Slo--- I hope that your appointment went well. :wizard:

Thanks Belle!!!!

I walked into the Rheumatologist last night with knowing about my Raynauds, and I walked out being diagnosed with Carpal Tunnel in both hands, along with the Raynauds:eek: Now I need to sleep with my hand in a brace, and take an anti-inflammatory for the next 6 weeks (3 weeks with one hand, and then 3 weeks with the other hand). If that doesn't work, than I need to get a cortisone shot in each wrist:eek::scared1: I hate those!!!!! So, I'm hoping this first treatment works for me.

When it comes to the Raynauds, I need to go for some more blood work, that will show if I have auto-immune diseases, which could be the underlying cause of the Raynauds.

I go back to the doctor in 3 weeks, so I will keep you all posted!!!!!

Well, I gotta get to work - lots to do!!
Have a good day!!!

Slo - I am glad you are getting things taken care. Sorry you have carpal tunnel.

Hope everyone is doing well!
