Escape to Neverland - A new Tagliarchy adventure!!

I'm glad this weekend is over - it was very very busy!!!
This week isn't going to be any better :sad2:
I've have alot to do at work with work, and putting up that Christmas tree.
Then I need to get this disaster, called a house, ready for Thanksgiving.
To much to do, and not enough time :sad2:

Speaking of Christmas trees - my first tree is up :santa:
I love how the living room looks with this tree - just love it!!!!!:goodvibes
I didn't do the rest of the decorating - I will save that for this weekend :thumbsup2

Well, it's time to get this crazy week started.
Have a good Monday everyone!!!

I got the store all decorated yesterday, and it looks great!!!!:santa:
I transfered all my Christmas music from my itunes libraray to my ipod (I have 11 hours worth of Christmas music), so we can listen to that this year, instead of the radio, or XM (they play the same music all the time - it's gets rather boring to listen to).
I'm glad that chore is done!!!!! :thumbsup2

It's time to go to get me started around the house before work.
Yesterday morning I did some laundry, cleaned up a pinch, and set the dining room table. This morning I need to vaccuum, clean 1 bathroom, and do some other things. I can get a lot done before work if I really hustle :thumbsup2

Have a good day!!!

Good morning!

I'm trying to finish up our menu for thanksgiving (hoping that NC B. is really---it was every other day last week on who was sched. to cover the holiday at his office). I'm trying to figure out a healthy recipe to use for a box of steamed chestnuts that I picked up last week at trader Joe's (it is a national grocery store chain).

I hope you all have a wonderful day today!!!!!

Pretty soon we'll all be doing this....

I up early because Stephanie and I always go to 9am Mass today.
I am reading at Mass, and Stephanie is serving. This is one of my favorite Masses to go to, because the canter/singer always does a beautiful solo at the end that makes me misty eyed. This Mass really makes Thanksgiving complete for me :)

Speaking of Mass, I talked to my Priest on Tuesday, when I had to pick up Stephanie from CCD, and he thought I didn't go to Mass on Saturday because of my upsettness with that movie being shown. I laughed and told him I wouldn't miss Mass because of that, but it was because of that Christmas show I had the store in. He said that because I basically never miss Mass, he was a little worried, I assured him, that everything was fine:thumbsup2

I forgot to tell you that the teacher did call and leave a message, and she basically put the blame on the kids, which I didn't like, but I'm going to let it go, since the my Priest agreed with me, and the movie didn't contine. The teacher wasn't at CCD on Tuesday, and I'm curious if it was because of this, or something else. She said that if I wanted her to step down, that she would understand, but I don't believe she needs to do that, but maybe another parent said she should. So this is still a "to be continued!!!"

I'm officially ready for Thanksgiving here, which is good.
I have a little more house to clean after church, and then everything is done:thumbsup2 Our 3 bathroom house is down to 1 bathroom (my bathroom) because the other ones are clean, and once they are clean, they are not allowed to be used until the guests come over - I'm so weird when it comes to that:laughing:

While I'm at church, Kevin will get the turkey in the oven, so I don't have to worry about that:thumbsup2 Then while that is cooking I will get the sides ready - busy, exciting day!!!!:goodvibes

Time for me to go get ready for church.
I hope you all have a wonderful day today!!!!!!!

Who here went shopping this morning?
Not me :sad2: I need my sleep to put up the rest of my Christmas decorations today :santa:
If you went out - what kind of great deals did you get?

How was everyone's day yesterday?
Mine was wonderful!!!! :goodvibes
I have a lot of leftovers which is great :thumbsup2 Today is my annual Corn Pudding and Green Bean Casserole leftover lunch. I've been doing this since - forever :goodvibes

Well, Katie is now up, which means I need to get her apple juice for her :)
Then I need to get myself dressed and makeup on, so if my employee calls for something, than I can go in right away :thumbsup2
I sure hope she doesn't need me today, because I have alot of decorations to put up:santa:

Have a good Friday everyone!!!

I had a good and successful day yesterday.
The house looks really great :santa: but not finished.
I need to work today, so I can't finish, but I will tomorrow. The only things that's left is the light up garland and bows on the banisters, put up my Precious Moments Sugar Town, and wrap certain pictures in Christmas wrapping paper, so they look like hanging presents. After that I'm done:woohoo::yay:
*For the first time since Stephanie started walking I brought out my Nativity. It's a Precious Moments Nativity Set, with all the extras, and Kevin built me a beautiful Manger building for it. I didn't realize how much I missed it, until I brought it out yesterday - it's good seeing it again after 10 years:goodvibes

Time to go get ready for work - Booo!!!!!:guilty:
I'm really not in the mood to go today :sad2:

Have a good day today!!!

Hi Taglikins! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Ours was yummmy! Dined out and had prime rib...yum yum.

I had to work yesterday, but they sent us home (those of us who hadn't taken a vacation day) about 2PM. So I came home and finished watching season one of True Blood on DVD. Then I had to go to the HBO website and watch all the season two "next on....." videos. I'm surprised I haven't had vampire dreams the last two nights after 12 hours of intense vamp viewing! :lmao:

Will be starting some major house purging projects (a four weekend plan), so I can have this place ready for big sister's visit at Christmas.
I'm dividing the house into four quardrants and will do one each weekend the whole thing culminating with a housecleaning service to come in for the scrubbing and carpet cleaning. I'll be making a list for the handyman too, as there are a couple of tasks I can't do on my own.

So I'd better get my DISing done and get a move on!

Have a great weekend everyone!

.

Morning..
Thanksgiving was great. I had my family and DH's brother. they all wanted to talk with Geoff and see how college was going. I am so proud of him, he has adjusted and is making his way..
Eric had a show last night, it was great and Geoff went to hear him too.. that was a first..I was on call yesterday but wasn't needed. Then they called me at 8 pm.. some one hadn't shown up but I was at Eric's concert and didn't have a car.so i was of no help.. I work tonight ..

Tired this morning - I haven't slept since 3:30am :faint:
I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep, and then at 4:30am Stephanie woke up thinking she was going to be sick. I could tell she was serious, because she was really shaking. I guided her back to bed, gave her a bucket, and laid on the floor by her bed. I didn't go back to sleep, because I was listening for her, and laying on the floor is not comfortable :sad2:
Now I'm not sure if I should have her go to school. Part of me says yes, because she never got sick, but the other part of me doesn't want to, because I don't want her throwing up in school and being embarrassed. I just don't know what to do :confused3 I'm leaning more towards letting her stay home, but I'll see what Kevin says when he wakes up, but in the end, I have the final say, because I'm the one that she needs to be with all day.

ibounce and geffric - I'm glad you both had a very nice Thanksgiving!! :goodvibes

I best get going and get Ms. Katie up and going.
Have a great day today everyone!!!

Stephanie and I were able to go to bed early last night, and sleep all night :thumbsup2
She went to work with me, and relaxed all day, which is good.
She is much better, and never had another stomach episode - thank goodness!!!!
I don't know what was wrong, but I do know she wasn't faking it, I definitly know that. She was shaking, and was in a terrible way - it wasn't good :sad2:
All I know is that I'm glad she's better, and going back to school today :teacher:

Well, time to go get ready for my Leads Group - not in the mood today :sad2:
Have a good day today everyone!!

We have been busy getting the house ready for NC B's oldest brother's visit for sometime this weekend. He has been travelling around the US/Canada since late summer. He and MIL are going to Spain after Christmas and in Feb.---he is exploring Asia. BIL saved enough money before he resigned his job back in June to travel for a year before deciding what he wants to live/work. BIL loved it out in the west and Texas.

Geffric--- I bet you excited about your upcoming trip.

Wednesday already?!?! Where do the days go?????????

The gift that I wanted to buy Katie online, which is gone everywhere, is at Toys R Us, so I'm going to drive out there before work :car: I asked them if I could buy it over the phone, and then pick it up, but they wouldn't do that for me :guilty: So, I'm really hoping it's there when I get there {{fingers crossed}}. Oh...the item is a Dora the Explorer flip open sofa. She loves the Princess one she has for the office at work, and this one would be for the playroom at home. They are perfect for laying on while watching tv:) So, with getting this, Katie gets a tiny couch, and Stephanie is getting a pink lounge chair for her room. :thumbsup2

Belle - Enjoy your visit with your BIL :) He'll probably have a lot of stories to tell you about all his travels:)

I'm off and running, so I can go get that gift.
Have a great day today!!!!

Hi everyone,
Slo I hope you were able to get the girls presents sorted.

Yesterday and today we got most of our Christmas decorations up, I just have 1 tree left to go up but I can't do this just yet (we are replacing the flooring in the garden room so I want to get that done next weekend then I can put the final tree up next Sunday.) We managed to get the outdoor lights up, but I need to find another extension socket so I can turn the outdoor tree lights on!

We have been busy with deep cleaning----hired some college hunks (its part of a chain name of a company that hires college students to take away some old furniture/stuff.

We had a nice visit with BIL#1. BIL could stay a day since he needed to go back to MA to help a friend move and attend a good-bye to one of his close friends. We get to see him in little over a week and half. BIL is accompying MIL after Christmas to Spain and apparently maybe France (MIL is adding to her iternery).

NC B. got some bonus days off so he took off yesterday and today which is a good thing. Jessie had a couple of upset stomach monments and coughing during the night. It is a good thing that I had a long nap earlier so I keep an eye on her.

Belle, I'll be having some folks in for some deep cleaning here too. Have to do a bit more purging and straightening up first, but it must be complete before Christmas company arrives (sister from Chicago).

So, last Wed I was sad because I called DCL and cancelled the Sept '10 WBTA...even though I've known for months I wasn't going to do that cruise. Friday morning, got an e-mail from a DIS cruise buddy who is a travel agent asking me if I wanted to do a week on the Magic THIS January, as she was able to get a deep discount. My cost (3 in a verandah cabin) $450 and change! :scared1: AND that included tips. We'll I had to say yes, of course! So for the $600 in deposits I just had refunded I'm getting a 7 day cruise with change left over to pay half the airfare! I'm sailing in 46 days! :woohoo:

Part II

So, the 1/23/10 Magic is 'on sale'. Cat 12 for 2 people, no transfers, no insurance is just under $1200 if any of you out there need and emergency vacation!

We got most of gift shopping done. We are leaving this weekend for NC B's mom's apt for the week (or we could be at his #3 brother's house).

:cheer2: Happy Belated birthday to Ian!
