Hi everyone! Have a safe trip RRBB.

Sorry you are still feeling badly SLO.

I am attempting to write a trip report. It doesn't start out that great, but we really did end up having a fun and relaxing trip.

Thanks for the kind words.

I hope you and NC Belle had a good time when you were down there.

I really liked being able to use snack credits for the food and wine festival.

Great review so far Bluebayou.

Today has been a wierd day for me, I am supposed to be on vacation from work yet spent 6 hours doing work! I did though manage to get my garden ready for winter too, the pruning is done, leaves hoovered up etc. Today is my mum's birthday so I phoned her and she had a nice day. My dad went to the firework factory last week to get the rockets for our display in 2 weeks time. My mum said her and ded were looking forward to coming down for that weekend as they haven't been to our house in over a year (we have seen them this year, just not at our house!)

Tomorrow I have more school work and housework to do. Plus I need to wait in for the grocery shop to arrive. They were supposed to come today but they van broke down!!

What a beautiful fall day yesterday!!!!!:)
I took total advantage of it, and was outside all day.
I got all my plants cut down, all the summer decorations put away, and all the pool furniture covered up.
Now the yard is officially ready for winter :cold: :guilty:
Now I'm counting the days until Spring :flower:

Thanks everyone for the well wishes, and I'm still not feeling 100% :guilty:
The last time I felt like this, my doctor started me on Zyrtec, and put me on an inhaler. I went and bought some Zyrtec yesterday, and we'll see if that helps, if not, then I'll need to go to the doctor.

Danauk - I was actually waiting for you to say your school was much older, I don't know why
**I'm glad you got your garden ready for winter too.

RRBB - Have a great trip!!!!!:cool1:

:rolleyes1 Our Mini-trip report:

Day 1/ Sat. Oct. 3---NC Beast slept in until after 8 am (worked late plus he had to do his time card and auto-email response). We finally left the house just before 10 am and dropped Jessie off at the kennel. It was almost 11 am so we decided to go to Steak and Shake. We had lunch and we got to the car MIL called on the cell phone. So, we finally left at a quarter to 12 and used the On-Star trial direction service. The estimated time was just under 9 hours...well...it took us a lot longer. We had a bite to eat at MC D's in SC at around 4pm. When we reached the Florida Welcome Center/rest area...NC Beast had a problem.

to be continued.........

a problem?? I'm waiting for the next round..

Belle....What was the problem??????
You have us on the edge of our seats.

NCBelle Still waiting to find out the problem!!

I have a small request also if you wouldn't mind. My pregnant SIL has swine flu so if you could spare some prayers and pixie dust for her and junior I would be greatful. She says she is OK right now, just achy and full of the cold.

:rolleyes1 Where was I in part 1?

Oh yeah, I was sitting in the car waiting and wondering what is taking him over 15 minutes in the Men's Room/Snack Area? He was not sick....

Okay, NC Beast finally appeared with a panic look. He had lost his wedding ring and was trying hard to find it. I remember him telling me in recent times about his ring becoming real loose as he lost a lot of weight. I surprised him by telling him to forget about the ring since it was not the original and I rather him lose it because of weight loss. I wanted to get back on the road and get to our destination---AKL. We will eventually get him a new ring, but it won't be fancy until he reach his final weight goals.

popcorn::There are couple of more "bumps" on our road trip week.

Oh no!!! BTW Pete is on wedding ring number 2 and I am on engagement ring number 2, and our best friend (who owned a very, very expensive wedding ring) is on number 2 as well (his is now a much cheaper one!!) it happens!

at least he looked for it and your ideas make perfect sense.. you are so right once he has lost the weight , then it is time for a nice ring..

BTW having the good fortune to meet you both, he looks very married to you and so happy..:) a ring is not important.. he is so commited to you!!!

that is so funny.. but true

I have original though but DH's ring doesn't fit anymore so he doesn't wear anything..

Did you notice when the subject of wedding rings came up....an add for diamonds showed up on the bottom of the screen.

Remember when the DIS was under 200,000 people and it felt more like 'ours' ???

.

A few years later Pete found his 1st wedding ring, it is now on Mickeys hand on a statue of Mickey conducting that we have on our mantle piece above the fire (along with his 2nd one which he takes off when he is doing any DIY work.)

Well today we are heading out to do some Christmas shopping, I need to find one of those language CD's for my BIL, aparently he wants to learn to speak Maltese (his grandparents were from Malta and they emigrated to Australia where he was born and raised.) I think that might have to be a present I search for on the internet though!! The shopping centre does have a world food shop though, so I think I will treat myself to a can of Minute Maid Lemonade (you can't buy it over here and I love the stuff!) and have that in my WDW refillable mug when I get home!!

Well I better get in the shower and ready for the day, have a great day everyone.

well I am eligible for a free upgrade on my phone.. well I went to Verizon store today and.. the free upgrade is worth $100.. but a fany cool new phone ( Motorola Cliq or Driod) needs a data package to access email, web and the cool new apps etc.. so it adds $30 per phone to my bill..

oh well .. maybe.... I can get the discount and ??

My DH had his ring slip off his soapy finger in the shower. I told him it was not that big of a deal. It was a simple gold band... damage to the drain would cost more. He became Superman and bent the grate and got a grabber tool and got it out. He couldn't just unscrew the screws because it was a 1962 bathroom and the grate had probably never been removed. After that we had a bent grate for a year or two before we finally remodeled the bathroom.

I just finished day two of my WDW trip report. It is funny, on paper it really seems like we did a lot at the MK. But when we were in it, it felt like we were wasting time, particularly at the start of the day, and just melting in the heat.
