Escape to Neverland - A new Tagliarchy adventure!!

Hi everyone,
Well the beautiful weather here seems to have come to an end for now. It rained all day yesterday, it hasn't stopped raining yet today and the forecast for Monday - Friday is heavy rain every day! I really hope the weather is better the week after for my class field trip to the castle.

Slo I'm happy you had fun at Katies graduation. Here in the UK the only time we get to graduate and have a ceromony is if you go to universaity and get a degree.

Geffric I hope you all have fun at Geoffs grad party.

See what I know what you mean about it being wierd seeing places you have visited on Angels and Demons. I have been to those places in Italy too, plus we saw them filming it in Hollywood lasy year. We saw the Vatican set in the sound studio at Sony and saw lots of extras dressed as Cardinals being driven around in golf buggies!!

Well my plan for today is to finish marking my childrens writing exams that they did on Friday, they have to complete the other writing task and do their maths tests on Monday and the head needs all the results in by Tuesday for a meeting she needs to go to!! I'm just having my lunch break now then I will have to get on.

Morning Taglikins! I've been MIA for a while, eh? Very busy at work the last two weeks (covering for people on vacation) and doing lots of e-mailing with my friends getting our ADRs sorted for WDW. Yesterday at 4AM I got up to make the call to Disney Dining and got everything we wanted. :cool1:

So, starting in 89 days, we'll be dining at:
Boma - Dinner
Coral Reef (girls) San Angel (boys) - Dinner
Kona Cafe - Dinner
Tusker House - Lunch
LeCellier - Lunch (girls)
Kona Cafe - Breakfast
50's Prime Time - Dinner
Citrico's - Dinner

We have two must do counter service stops, Tangerine Cafe and Captainswhateverit is at the Poly (self serve Dole Whips!). One night we will cook spahgetti dinner, supplemented with a to-go fried chicken dinner from Trais End.

This coming Friday is DCL excursion/Palo booking. After that I can rest up for the summer and loose some more weight in order to make room for two weeks of 'good eats'. :lmao:

:grouphug: for all of you!

.

Oh my gosh that's so cool! I was really impressed with all the sets and graphics because it looked just like the real thing! How cool you saw them filming!

All of your ADR's sound fantastic! They're all my favorites! I'm really looking forward to a TR (please tell me you're doing one!)

It was a very busy and productive weekend.

Dinner at Weber Grill was nice (this is where we ate for our anniversary - it is downtown Chicago), but not our best experience there. They sat us next to the grills, which isn't the best place to be - so LOUD!!!!! Not a romantic place to sit:sad2: Poor Kevin didn't realize that the white stuff in his bowl was horseradish, he thought it was cottage cheese, and he ate a big spoonful of it - not good:sad2: My steak was medium rare, instead of medium, so it had to go back - that took alot away from the meal:guilty: So it wasn't our best experience there:sad2: But we'll be back, we still love it:thumbsup2

Yesterday was very productive with getting ready for the garage sale. We got all the boxes out of the storage unit, and got them emptied in the garage (not organized). The rest of the kids clothes are organized and ready to be put out. So the only thing left to do it organize the stuff in the garage, and then put all the clothes outside on Thursday morning :thumbsup2

The rest of the week is going to be dedicated now to getting the house ready for company on Thursday and Friday night. Everything in this house seems disgusting, because it's been so neglected. So that's next on my agenda:thumbsup2

Busy busy busy!!!!!

Danauk - All these graduations are a modern day thing around here. When I was a kid, they didn't do all this :sad2:My kids will/have a graduation ceremony for preschool, kindergarten, middle school, high school, and college:)

ibounce - I'm glad you got all the ADR's you wanted :woohoo:The self serve Dole Whips are great at Captain Cooks - I just wish they served pineapple juice so you could make floats:)

SeeWhat - :wave2:

Well, it's time for me to get Steph up for her last week of school:woohoo:
Have a great day!!!

We are at NC Beast's parents for a couple of days. FIL had a good Sunday night, but today he needed to take it easy.

Its NC Beast's birthday (June 8). We spent the afternoon with our 9 year old niece at the National Aquarium. She was well behaved. MIL/FIL pulled a big surprise---2 of NC Beast's close buddies from his high school days came for dinner.

Happy anniversary Slo and Kevin!:dance3:

Life is still crazy with getting ready for this garage sale, and family dinners this week. My house is a disaster, my garage is a disaster, and I couldn't tell you the last time I've cleaned my house  I can hardly wait for this week to be OVER!!!! I want my house and garage back - I can't take this messiness anymore!!!!:headache:

SeeWhat - If you really want to sell stuff, you should keep an ear open for when a family member or friend are doing one, and ask them to sell your stuff at theirs. My MIL and my mom are both selling stuff in my garage sale.

Belle - Have a nice time at your in-laws. I'm glad your FIL is doing well during your visit. Also, how fun about the surprise visit from your DH's friends - I bet The Beast loved that!!!!:goodvibes
*Thanks for the Happy Anniversary wish :goodvibes

Well, I'm off to get this day started
Have a good Tuesday everyone!!

I hope you have a non-stressful week! I hate how clutter makes me so anxious. Don't work too hard! :faint:

Maybe my sister and I can work on getting a neighborhood garage sale together or something...that would be so helpful! Please people, take my junk!

Yawn........one more day until the garage sale:woohoo::yay:
I've been getting ready for this thing since January, when I put my Christmas decorations away. I'm so tired of thinking about it, that I can hardly wait for it to be over and out of my hair!!!!

Speaking of the garage sale.
I will not be on the rest of the week due to me having this. The sale begins at 8am, but I need to be outside by 6am getting stuff outside and organized, so I will have no time. I will try to check in on Sunday, but I may not, if I sleep in, then during the day, we have a ton of yard work to do. So I may not be back on until Monday. If anything major happens, that I should know about, please don't hesitate to call me at work (for those on Facebook, and have my store phone number). I will be at work Thur 10-1, Fri 10-2, and Sat 10-4.

Well, I gotta run and clean some house for all the company I"m having over for dinner Thursday and Friday night.
Have a good day!!!

Just dropping by quickly again, good luck with the garage sale Slo!

Having an OK week at work, I am really tired this week and can't wait for the weekend. Tomorrow night we are going around to friends from the theatre for wine and nibbles and we are choosing songs we are going to do in a variety show at the theatre. It should be a fun evening.

Hey all, jsut a quickie for me as well. Just stopping by to catch up on news. Boring around here. I am keeping busy taxiing Lauren to her camps etc. VBS is next week. That will be a long but fun week.

I have to mow the backyard today. I did the front in record time last night -35 minutes. I was dying afterward. I am getting too old!

Good luck on your sale today SLO. TTFN

Good evening everyone,
Well so much for my fun night out this evening and going to our friends for a BBQ tomorrow. Today we got a phone call at work to say we are being inspected at work on Wednesday, so now I have loads of work to do all weekend. So I guess I am stuck in the office upstairs all weekend! Oh well, never mind.

I hope everyone else has a better weekend!!

Oh no :( That sucks. I hope you get everything done super fast so you can still enjoy your weekend.

Have a good friday everyone! I have an interview with the wild animal park today for a summer job; I hope it goes well. I'm off!

We got home Wed. night. FIL had a rough Tuesday and Wednesday. MIL had to call hospice for help dealing with FIL's fever and new pains. He got some scans yesterday so hopefully results are in by now (to see if there any more options for pain relief and make it easier for him to breathe). MIL said that Thursday was better day.

Poor Jessie. We had her in the vet all day for her dental cleaning. The vet tech said that one of her back teeth had a closed fracture. I hope that the tooth survives or not worsen. The poor creature is hung over from the various meds and anesthetic.

Hope that he is comfortable NCB..

Well It finally stopped raining here today.. rained last night and Eric came home at 6 am soaked from being out all night at rally for life.. he slept most of the day.. Geoff and I had an Eagle Court of honor and then went to Walmart for sunglasses and water shoes. We also looked at wet suits for him... we were supposed to go to Outback tonight for his last night home but had ribs instead..they were good but next time we will make the ribs..

tomorrow we are driving Geoff to Camp Napowan in Wild Rose WI :scared1:and then we won't see him until 8/9.:guilty:

Well at last I can finally sit down and catch up on dis news! We got another inspection phone call for work on Friday so I spent most of yesterday and today doing school work. I did manage to get our for 90 minutes yesterday to go to our favourite garden centre as I needed more Yankee Candles and some more herbs for my herb garden. The inspection this time is just 1 person for 1 day so it should be OK. At least when that is over we can relax a little and enjoy the last 4 weeks of term. One of those weeks I am away on camp which I am looking forward to and another week is filled with tallent shows and end of year fun trips.

NCBelle I hope your FIL is more comfortable today.

Geffric How far away from your house if Geoffs camp? (My US geog is not all that good!) I'm sure the time will pass quickly until you see him again.

Well I better go, I am supposed to be cooking. I am doing a Sunday roast, the beef and the roast potatos are in right now, so I better go and prepare some veg.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone, this evening I am going to run some Ridemax plans for our WDW trip seen as the August data is now up!!

Last week so LONG!!! :faint:
But fun at the same time!!! :teeth:

While getting ready for the garage sale, we also hung out with our neighbors alot (they did it with us) and had some great laughs. The kids were able to play alot, and it was fun!!!

Thursday was a bit of a nightmare with all the rain  I slept only 2 hours that night because my mind was raining on what to do because of the rain - we had so much stuff - especially baby/kids clothes. We did have several tents that we put up, but everything and everyone still got so wet. It was not a fun day!!!!:sad2: There was still a great turnout with people, and we made alot of money:woohoo: Then that night my relatives came over, and my mom bought pizza. It was hard to entertain when we were all so dead tired (the mom's too, who helped all day).

Friday was a nicer day, which was nice, because we could spread things out more. We still had a decent amount of people come, but not as much as Thursday, and we made 1/2 of what we made on Thursday. Then that night the relatives came over again and we had a cookout and a fire outside - we also invited our neighbors. It was alot of fun and we were outside until 11pm.

Saturday was a yucky weather day again, which was unfortunate. We were selling everything for 1/2 off, and didn't make as much as Friday, but we still did well :thumbsup2 Then that night we had another cookout at the neighbors, but we didn't stay out as late - we were tired. The mom's (me and my neighbor) took the kids in by 9pm, and the guys stayed out until 11pm. It was another fun night!!!!

Sunday I caught up with doing some things in the house, and then I went outside and worked. I got the pool deck all swept off and the furniture all set up. Then I started pulling weeds - buckets and buckets of weeds:eek: The girls play area is like someone seeded it with weeds - it's awful!!!!!:scared1:I pulled 4 huge buckets of weeds, and that wasn't even all of it. I found Poison Ivy growing through the fence, and I'm not happy about that at all :sad2: It scares me to think what is on the other side of the fence:eek: I need to send Kevin to check it out. Then I raked tons of mulch, in their area to even it out. I wasn't planning on doing it, but one thing led to another and I just did it. Now today I am very very sore!!!! But I feel good about getting it done :thumbsup2

Well, I need to go get ready for work.
I hope all is well with everyone!!!
Have a great day!!!
