Hello everybody.

I have a quick question about the resort stay requirement for escape packages. I understand you need a reservation number for a minimum of four nights at an on property resort in order to book an escape wedding.

Does the reservation actually have to be in my name? The situation is my mom is a travel agent and will likely be able to get an agent rate on a villa we could share with them but in order for that to work the reservation would have to be in her name. I assume my name would be listed on the reservation somewhere but could I use this reservation number to book the wedding given that it isn't in my name?

I don't think it has to be in your name, though your name may need to be somewhere on it (I had someone else book mine, and my name is on there as one of the two actually staying). So, you should be fine to book that way and use it. Just give your planner the reservation number so they can link it up!

Perfect, thank you so much.
