Escape Package Question

My husband and I are considering doing a VR during an upcoming Disney World trip. We've been thinking about doing the Escape package. There are a few things in the package that we don't want but there are also some extras that we would like to add on. Can we put the value of the things we don't want towards the things we do?

Examples:

We don't need a photographer (we would bring our own) but we would like to do theme park pictures and videography.

We don't want a limo but we would like to rent Cinderella's Coach.

We don't want the sparkling wine or after ceremony cake "reception." If we do this the plan would be to have dinner after the ceremony and then to cut the cake during a fireworks cruise aboard the Grand 1 yacht. We would want to serve coffee, tea, and hot chocolate (we are going in December) with the cake.

Will Disney allow me to put the value of the things I don't want towards the things I do? Has anyone done this before?

Disney does not offer a lot of flexibility with the Escape package. There are no credits and almost no swaps. If you want a customized wedding, they want you to bump up to Wishes.

The only option here is to swap the included photography for a Dessert Party photo package or a resort photo session. (See "Enhanced Photo Session" HERE.) For a bridal portrait/video session in the parks you'll pay full price.

The only thing they can do is let you use the 4 hours of limo during another part of your stay, like to go to the airport or to get your license. You'd pay the full price of Cinderella's Coach to add it.

You can exchange the wine for 2 bottles of cider. Disney will box up your cake and put it in the limo so you can take it on your cruise with you. To arrange beverages on your cruise, contact Private Dining at the resort from which your cruise departs. Numbers are HERE.

Wow, I never knew you could use the limo as an airport or courthouse shuttle. That's actually a very enticing tradeout. Do you think Disney would approve using it as a shuttle to Diagon Alley?

I don't see why not although since it's one 4 hour block it would only get you one way.

Since you want to do a lot of more customizing on your wedding, you might consider the memories package, and then you would need to plan out your "reception" with a dinner & such. You could order a cake thru Disney or the resteraunt you want to dine at maybe or have it delivered to the Yacht if that's what you're looking to do. Or you could even hire It's Tasty Too cakes to deliver your cake to your resort or something? If you have a small enough group and wanted to, you could even do an in room celebration if you have a large enough resort room-- like the 1 or 2 bedroom DVC rooms. You would need to contact Private Dining in order to set that all up.

I looked into the Memories & then adding on custom things that I had to plan on my own. But opted to stick with Escape since we are a very small group.
But yea, Disney is not very flexible on the Escape package.
