Escape from Gringotts

I can't seem to get a good idea of what the Gringotts ride is like. Wikipedia is saying it's similar to Spiderman (which I love), but I feel like that's only referring to the ride type (how it's 3d but the cart will physically move along a track) and it also describes it as a steel roller coaster.

I cannot do roller coasters. No interest. I don't need a play by play, I can handle thing like Thunder Mountain at Disney, just a general heads-up as to how coastery it is.

Gringott's is more dark ride than coaster.I think it's even more tame than Big Thunder.Forbidden Journey the other Potter ride at Islands of Adventure is completely a dark ride but it's ride system is robotic Kuka arms with seating in a track,this ride is probably considered more intense than Gringott's since the robotic arms throw you around a lot.

Its pretty much just a dark ride. There is 1 big thunder mountain part in the begining for 5 seconds and then its just rooms of 3d screens . Very tame. But i enjoyed it alot

It is tame enough for my 88 year old mother and 5 year old niece to ride at the same time and have a ball.
