escalators?

I love how this thread has gone on for 2 pages with everyone wondering where these escalators might be!

The Aladdin Show has an escalator if you go to the Balcony (We loved that show).

I am thinking she went to Universal as well. We went there last week - tons of esalators, over crowded, and no where near as nice as Disney. Just my thoughts

Really? Where is that? We sit on the Mezzanine level and use the stairs. :) We've never done the balcony tho so this makes me curious. :)

Despite the reports of it being run-down, I'm thinking a visit to Universal might be fun...we love escalators! :)

UMM that is a no space mountain, no for monorail(both DTD and park enterance).

yes for parking garages..hmm odd

Hmm RFLOL! Ok maybe Disney should do a ride that is nothing but escalators.. LOL

I just want to know where she went so it makes sense. Right now I am just confused. :confused3

OOHHHHH WAIT yes i have done the escalator for the top row of aladdin!! ohh yeha it's like up a bunch of stairs an at the tippy top an escalator! not the best view in the house either fyi.;)

Ditto the Previous poster... The parks are the most well maintained of ANY theme park in the US! Maybe your friend never made it in the parks and thought the parking structure was Disneyland!
Eh, while they might be the best maintained in the country, they are not as well maintained as they were 20 years ago.

There are escalators at the parking garage, none in the park, but there are several moving sidewalks, like the monorail and I don't remember if Space Mountain still uses theirs during peak hours.

Humongous one here. It's outside the park - I think it services a lower level parking lot. So who needs the tram tour with this? ;)

One of the enjoyable parts of the San Diego Zoo is the (are the? grammar help!) moving walkways that go up up up. It was because of one of them that we were able to see the dingo, actually! He was not visible otherwise.

And our local bank has an escalator, which is a MUST-DO for DS when we take a walk to the bank.

I don't recall any escalators on DL/DCA -- at all.

USH, OTOH uses a large number of escalators because of the hilly area where the studios are located.

As for "run-down", DL gets the same TLC as WDW, so I am doubtful that original statement holds any water (not to mention that DCA is currently going through a multi-million dollar upgrade).

DH talked to her yesterday, told her there aren't any escalators at DL, and asked where she really went. She said "Hmmm...maybe that was Universal." ROTFL :rotfl:

I haven't talked to her yet myself, but when I do I'm going to ask if she has ever even been to DL at all. I'm betting she hasn't.

:rotfl2: That's pretty funny. Maybe she's using the term "Disneyland" to mean any theme park like you would say Kleenex for tissue.

NO NO NO there is esclators inside DCA

at the tippy top stairs for the top level.. they are hidden behind a wall, but i was on them for aladdin! i saw them with my own two eyes.

Too funny! (In a sorta sad way.)

It's the old joke about the college students who go to Europe on Spring Break. "9 countries in 6 days! Europe, been there done that!" But ask them to tell you anything specific about anywhere they went and it's all a blur.

When Disneyland and Universal Studios blend together, someone's been doing a lot of sightseeing! :goodvibes

I have to say, I kept coming back to this thread just to see if she ever figured out where she was. It was like I had to see the end of the movie. :rotfl:
