escalators?

If y'all knew her you wouldn't be the least bit surprised that she had no idea where she was or where she had been, lol. :rolleyes1

My first inclination was to tell her there weren't a bunch of escalators at DL (because I have looked at LOTS of pics and haven't seen them), and it wasn't old or run down looking (again, looked at lots of pics, plus it is Disney after all). But then I haven't actually been there yet, so I held my tongue. She just had my mind somewhat boggled for a while. We were away for a few days without internet access and it was killing me to get home and come here to get the real scoop.

She doesn't like Disney World either, btw. She was there, twice, for less than a full day each time. She stayed offsite, in June and July, visited Magic Kingdom, arriving whenever she happened to get there... DH says it would have been somewhere around 11:00. (I asked her once, and she couldn't remember what time she arrived, but she knew it wasn't at park opening. She said they had to get up, go out for breakfast, and drive all the way there so they couldn't possibly get there early. LOL) She says she doesn't understand why we keep going back. She was there, twice, and she didn't think it was that great. :rotfl:

OK...does she work in an office? Did she complain about a former co-worker who used to leave Peeps all over the place? Does she know about EVERYTHING, and often is wrong but won't believe that?

Because she sounds just like Miss Information, from a year+ old thread by Dis'er EvilGenius....

my mom forgest where she is sometimes.. but she is VERY old...sooooo

soo did she ever figure out where she was?

i'd be confused to universal studios and disneyland are SOO alike! aren't they? rflol

No, she doesn't work in an office, lol. She has been a homemaker for most of her life, and has raised four kids successfully to adulthood. Whew. LOL.

We do joke about her air-headedness, but it runs in her family I think. Her sister is even worse, LOL.

I talked to her today. She didn't visit Disneyland at all. It was indeed Universal. Why she confused it with DL we will never know. I guess they discussed visiting DL while she was there, but ended up at Universal instead. She got a whirlwind tour, visiting a different place (or two) every day, she said. They even took a side trip to Vegas for a couple days. -- At least she SAYS she went to Vegas. Who knows for sure, LOL. Could've been Mexico, or Canada. :rotfl:
