error when starting..(xtra file)

I just got a new lap top, and trying to play Vmk on here. When I log in, the game lets me log in at first, but then i get an error that says, it can not load because xtra text did not load or it's not in folder.
Now we did a search on this Xtra text and it apparently works along with micromedia, but don't know where to get this file.
I'm totally clueless. Can anyone help?

try making a new account to see if it gives you the pop up that says you need to download the new macromedia(vmk updated it so the server runs more smoothly) otherwise go to microsoft.com then search in downloads for macromedia probalby 10 or 11 dont download the service pack one

Oh I had this trouble when I bought a new computer and got a new ISP.

Click on help for macromedia and then it gives you URL's to copy into your trusted sites area in internet security. I will try to find it now and post it for you and others in the same situation. It took me 3 days to figure that out!

To resolve this issue, add the following Macromedia Web sites
• http://www.macromedia.com
• http://fpdownload.macromedia.com
• http://sdc.shockwave.com
to the Trusted sites zone in Internet Explorer. To do so, follow these steps: 1. Start Internet Explorer (if it is not already running).
2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
3. Click the Security tab.
4. Under Select a Web content zone to specify its security settings, click Trusted sites, and then click Sites.
5. In the Add this Web site to the zone box, type http://www.macromedia.com, and then click Add, type http://fpdownload.macromedia.com.
6. Click Add, type http://sdc.shockwave.com, and then click Add.

The Macromedia Web sites are displayed in the Web sites list.
7. Click Close, and then click OK.

Thanks for the help, but it still will not work. This is the error I get. "This application requires an Xtra (TEXT) that either does not exist of failed to initialize property. Please make sure the appropriate Xtras are in the Extras Folder (s)". I have uninstalled and reinstalled flash player 2 times from my lap top. I get as far as putting my log in name in and password, then i get the VMK symbol with the down load bar, but the bar only gets about 1/4 of the way, then i get the error. at least i still get on with my desk top. I know the player is working on the laptop because i can use it on other sites
