Err... VMK is down. 3/14/07

I got "the site is temporarily too busy to process your request." Eeeeew. That one's my favorite. P.S. I can't look at other posts for some weird reason. The new security thing lets me look at all other parts of DIS besides people's posts.

Pal gives me "error accessing the VMK site" and IE gives me "this site is too busy to process your request"...

Yes they must be having trouble again. It says site is too busy. And i noticed that every time i refresh the main vmk page the number of players is steadily going down. So maybe they will notice and fix it before quest is over. hang in there everyone.

I'm having the same problem. I just got through with the quest, thankfully, and DD and I were trying to log-in on her character. I tried msn, IE, and Pal and all are having problems.

It seems very odd to me that vmk dies whenever there is host quest. It makes me wonder if they disable sign on so if you are in the game you are ok but if you sign out to do quest on a second character or another family member wants to do it you cannot get back in. This happened to me last week also.

While I may be technically still in VMK, I can't do anything. I'm trying to get shells for Lily's quest, But I have such a hard time really moving it's pointless to really try.
I'm about ready to give up and log off because I can't get anything accomplished.

I thought it was a little unfair having to get three shells for the quest. Everyone was really nice when I was in there, but with everyone trying to get shells and only so long to get them in, it was really hard. I love the quests that don't have games, but I would like to have more of the quests that are just trivia questions and finding items. VMK seems to run smoother then.

I've been on, but was trying to log in a mule to trade myself some things. Can't get the mule on, but still have my regular character on. I've just been hanging out in my quest room.

Wow! Talk about a complete shut down. I went to the main VMK page to show DD the new St.Patrick's Day pin and I can't even get it to come up. All there is is a green blank page. Anyone else having trouble with the main page?


It finally came up, but boy did it take a LONG time.

I never saw a time limit on task four. I guess I'm in big trouble, because when I can manage to get the quest hint to be on my my screen, it says to time limit. And now that I'm posting about this the super bad lag seems to have left.

And it's back again, but at least the atoms don't move like the shells do.

It isn't a loading problem, I can't access the log-in page at all. Pre-BSOD.

I think I'm still one of those online, but I have extremely bad lag again. It cleared up a bit for a few minutes, but now I can't really move again. At least these atoms don't move around on me like those shells did, but I don't want to know what my final time will be if I can actually finish the quest once.
