Epson inkjet recycling?

Does anyone know of a charity that can make use of Epson cartridges for recycling (or anything else)?

Have you tried you local schools. My DW's school collect them.

It seems that Epson cartridges aren't of any value for recycling with ink, but I'm sure someone out there must be able to do something with them.

I have given them to the local school before, but I wasn't sure whether they actually managed to get rid of them! As they're a lot nearer for me than the hospital, I think I'll try them again
