Thanks so much for the wonderful reviews - you've made me laugh out loud and drool simultaneously which does nothing to convince my husband that I'm not completely barking. And let's not even talk about what happens when I'm at work.![]()
Honestly... very entertaining and very informative reviews. Hope to see more from your most recent trip because reading this has been a delight.
Oh, and you quoted Beavis ...![]()

Thanks Honeybee for a very entertaining food review! We're thinking about going on the DDP for our next trip so now I have some good ideas about where to book ADRs. CG is at the top of the list!
Nono! This can't end! Even a review of your visiting your local Burger King will suffice until you get back to Disney again!![]()
Kenyan Coffee BBQ Braised Short Ribs? Coffee and meat....oh the drool....Think I'll pour some Maxwell House over a Hot Dog to get me thru. Your reviews have been informative and entertaining and I wish that your trip would have been for 30 days so we could see some more reviews. (If I was paying for it that would have been a go, right? LOL)
fabu job Honeybee!![]()
I agree with what everyone else has already stated - I hate to see your reviews end. Please tell us you'll be doing the reviews from your most recent trip soon!!![]()

Thanks for the great pics and reviews!
Soooo funny about your Boma breakfast hostess issues... we were there January before last: my mom, stepmother (uh, dad's exwife... yeah...), sister and I, and they beeped us, so we went to the counter. The hostess CM said we'd be seated next, and she put the paper with our name down beside her, rather than in the little file thing they use to sort names.
Two other parties of four were beeped and sat before us while we stood there looking confused and hungry. Eventually a suit wandered by, and just as she was in range, I said (innocently and to my mom, of course), "We were beeped like 10 minutes ago, and they said we'd be next, but 2 other parties have been seated before us... how odd..."
The suit turned around, asked our name, found our little lost paper, and promptly sat us at a really great table for 4. I don't know exactly what happened, but maybe we had the same confused hostess.
Great reviews from a fellow NC'er!!![]()
* An aside (not an interesting aside, just a plain old aside): Petrifries is one of those little Disney witticisms that really keep us vacationers on our toes, sort of like Tangierine Café. See its funny cause they craftily supplant tangerine with Tangier. I naively attributed this pun to the fact that Tangier is in Morocco and the Tangierine Café is in the Morocco pavilion. Giggle, giggle, giggle. But how wrong I was to underestimate the power of Disney Imagineering. If you were a big dork like me and actually looked up tangerines on Wikipedia, youd discover the following: Historically, the name tangerine comes from Tangier, Morocco, the port from which the first tangerines were shipped to Europe. The adjective tangerine, from Tangier or Tanger, was first recorded as an English word in 1710. Now that is one multivalent subtlety. In other words, like ogres, it has layers.
Upon closer inspection, the root word Tanger leads me to suspect that the astronauts drink of choice may be a major player here as well. Tang is orange, citrussy, and quite possibly the main component of the Tangierine Cocktail sold at the Tangierine Café.Unfortunately, I looked it up on Wikipedia, and Morocco does not have a very prominent space program, so there goes that theory.
In case you were wondering, this digression does have a point, which is this: a WDW vacation is no excuse for mental flabbiness. Physical flabbiness, on the other hand, is a common side effect of eating large quantities of Petrifries.
Stay tuned for Day 2, Part 2 ~ Pizzafari & Narcoossees
