Anyone else excited beyond reason for the upcoming video game 'Epic Mickey'? I've been on board since the concept art came out, but the trailers and opening cinematic look gorgeous! And better yet, the details all are looking to stay true to any original material, from old and long forgotten characters to the otherworld version of what looks like Disneyland!

I'm excited for it! DH and I watch the videos as they come out, it keeps looking cooler and cooler. I love picking up the 'park' icons!

The date for it coming out is Nov 30 for now (Nov 20 for the wii), though that may be pushed back if there is a problem. It was Nov 1 before.

We're excited! BUT... DH just sold our Wii.

I got all excited about Plants vs. Zombies that just came out on the XBOX that he decided to surprise me, sell our Wii, and buy the XBOX. I am very happy (we didn't like the Wii all that much!) but I am so disappointed we'll have to wait to play it until we visit friends with a Wii.

Hi! Are/were you working with developing the game? Thank you very much for the links! The more I see, the more impressed I get with all the detail and care taken with the game. I was pleasantly surprised to hear that Disney pitched the idea, more or less.

And I've heard some very good things about the platforming And the visuals look great, let alone for the wii! In the game, can you only take good or bad paths, or are there more areas of grey/more than two possible outcomes? Also, I notice some rides from the parks in there. How much of the parks will we see in game?

Also, I think it is very awesome of you to be on the boards!

Hi Nomi! I am not working on the development of the game. To answer your second question, the game incorporates the Playstyle Matters concept where the decisions you make affect the path you take and how the story unfolds. If you'd like to learn more about this, I suggest that you check out the new behind the scenes video, Storytelling, on YouTube.com/DisneyEpicMickey. As for parks in the game, you will be able to see many lost Disney attractions in Wasteland, the alternate world that Mickey finds himself in.
