Epic Mickey

I for one am totally excited for this game. There's a new cinematic trailer out, and it looks amazing. I'm not sure if I like the way that mickey looks yet, but it sounds like a classic Disney story for the older than 12 set. . I love the backstory to it.

Anyone notice the day Mickey is kidnapped is when Steamboat Willie was released into theatres, and widely recognised as Mickey's birthday? What a terrible way to start his special day...

Yeah I think so too, that the trailer is the beginning of it. Anyone notice that the land for forgotten creations looks suspiciously like a mixture of Disneyland and Disneyworld? (with cinderella's castle, matterhorn, and mainstreet)

I'm excited to see Oswald, we hear about him sometimes, but we don't get to see him very much.

When Yensid says he didn't learn who the intruder was for a very long time, the calendar starts flying by. The dates on the calendar state the the day the cartoon came out. Each picture on each calendar page is a different cartoon.

I read the interview with game writers/designers when it was first announced last year and they said that the moment Mickey spills the ink is when Disney choose Mickey over Oswald, which was when Steamboat Willie came out. So it makes sense that the day Mickey goes into Yensid's workshop is the same day that Mickey was "born"

It looked like a typical video game map to me. There appeared to be five or six "lands" that you'll have to work through with the castle as the central hub. I think the lands are built around rides in both parks.

Yeah, everything in the Wasteland is made up of concept art, models, extinct attractions, etc. that aren't in the parks. That's why it's called the Wasteland.

I mean when the Ink Blot takes Mickey. The last day on the calendar is November 28th.

Its a Wii exclusive. It likely will not be ported to any other system. It was designed for the wii.

i've been looking foward to this game since last year! i'm so putting ths on my christmas list! every game will be different depending on how you want to paly... if you want to be more aggresive mickey will change, if u want to be docile... he'll look sweeter... or there is middle of the rode.

I've been following this game since the concept art was released. Although when the Gameinformer issue of it came out it was a lot different than I expected...then I found out it was a Wii exclusive. If it had not been for the fact that it reminded me of Super Mario 64 and that I love Disney, I don't know if I would have taken another look at this game. This game looks like it's going to be fantastic. One of my must haves along with Birth by Sleep and a bunch of other games that were shown at E3. Man I'm going to be broke.
