epic mickey question for those who have finished

I finished it the other day and the kids and I were browsing thru my extras. the movies cuts were cute and I'm only missing one, but I'm confused as to why I got the thinner ending, and not the paint ending like I got when I actually finished the game. does anybody know why?

I think it depends on whether you use thinner or paint on some of the boss battles?

There's more to it possibly, but I know, for example, the shadow ink blot makes a difference if you use paint or thinner.

I understand that, and used paint for all the boss fights and got the paint ending when I ended the game, but now when I am going back and looking at all the extras and re-watching the movies, I'm confused that the movie in my extras isn't the movie that was played when I finished my game. am wondering if others who have finished have the same thing?
