am I ever going to get this? I swear it is an exercise in frustration!!!! I've tried paint, which is my prefered medium, but omg, there is not time enough to paint the 2nd hand thoroughly before the 1st hand comes back and starts up. I really really really really really wish there was a spot that I could have some breathing room in this section, but there is no escape...only death.

aaaaaarrrrrrggggghhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

anyone else struggle with this?

Haven't done that part yet that I remember but have you tried using a watch sketch to slow down time?

The IASW clock tower? If you paint, you notice the hand gets darker and darker blue. I alternated painting both hands until they were both pretty blue. Then after the 1st hand was frozen, it didn't take too long to paint the 2nd hand.

hopemax, okay, that makes sense! don't know why I didn't think to go that route. I was starting from square one with the 2nd hand and there was NOT enough time!!!!!

when my eyes stop spinning, will give it a shot. thanks you!

allison, I am not sure what all that means. hmmm...guessing its to come?

I chose the exact opposite strategy. I used the thinner on the arms, one at a time. Start with the hand and then work up the arm. Eventually, the arms will get so thin that they will break into pieces when it tries to hit you.
It took me a few times, but I finally got it!

Oh, I remember that part now. Yeah-you wouldn't have any watch sketches yet for that. It took me a long time to get past that part.

Same here. My son was getting frustrated. So, we found a video on youtube which helped a lot! I still ended up doing it for him, but we used thinner.

I used thinner, and I was sorry afterward. I've been trying to stick to paint whenever possible. My husband is also playing, and he hit that point after I did. He used paint and I don't think it took him much (if any) longer than it took me to defeat the clock tower. I do agree with the previous suggestion of alternating the two hands as much as possible - that did seem to make it much easier for me then trying to do them one at a time.

This is what I did....Its a matter of picking an arm...using TONS of thinner, watch for the shadow on the ground, then move before he smashes you...rinse and repeat with the other arm...

hopemax, your technique worked beautifully! made it so much easier. definitely a case of working smarter, not harder. I was really getting so frustrated I was wondering if I would ever get past it! phew.
