Epic Mickey 2 on Wii

Just wondering if anyone can help, my nephew had this game for Christmas and so far we haven't been able to figure out how to play. Can anyone explain it please!

We haven't getting that far just yet. I got very frustrated and tuned it off

So annoying that they didn't work out the issues that bugged the great concept from the first game.
I won't be buying this until its very cheap
