Hi shyjade,
We did this on our last trip. My dh and I each went once and took one of the older kids with us. All four of us loved it, and the younger kids were able to go to the aquarium and see mom, dad and their older brothers in the tank. You can actually interact with the guests, and that was one of the neatest things about the whole experience!
You only spend 1/2 hr in the water, the rest of the time is a wonderful backstage tour of the aquarium, prep for the dive and time for a shower afterward.
All the money they make from this event goes to wildlife conservation projects, and during the tour they tell you a little about all the things they are doing worldwide.
If your dd likes to swim and doesn't have a problem putting her head underwater, I HIGHLY recommend it. It takes a few minutes to get used to the breathing apparatus and mask if you have never used scuba gear before, but the suits are specially weighted so that you can not "sink" below the surface of the water. The fish and other sea creatures will swim right around you!
Please let me know if your have any other questions!
