Does anyone know what the German Mickey beanie costume represents? It resembles a folkloric costume or military-themed. I need more info.
It is sold in Epcot's Germany.

I actually can't picture the German mickey right now, but I would assume he'd be wearing traditional lederhosen (a Bavarian folk costume), and not military garb.

Strange enough I have these beanie's and these costumes! I german dance in case you are wondering.

Mickey is wearing lederhosen and Minnie is wearing a dirndl. They both are tradidional folk costumes.

Thanks so so much! I didn't see the German Minnie, but the Mickey was too adorable to leave on the shelf.
I display it at work, a multicultural building at a university.

But you know, after looking at pictures of lederhosen on the Net, I don't know if that is what this Mickey is wearing. he is not wearing those alpine-style pants with the hat and a feather, but a green and yellow costume...

Is this still considered a lederhosen? Maybe it is a new German Mickey

Hmmm, I'd have to see it to say if it is the Mickey I have. The one I have does have green pants and they are a style of lederhosen, but I can't say for sure your Mickey is the same. Do you have a picture??

Cheers!

Do all the countries in Epcot have Mickey beanies dressed in costumes of the country represented?:Pinkbounc

Sorry it took so long for me to reply. I've been busy at work and haven't been able to get to this board.

The picture you linked is the ones I have. I'm not familiar with the other one. But now I'll have to check it out (and probably buy it) when we go in Nov.

Jacksmom: I'm not sure if all of the countries have beanies with costumes. I got mine from the disney store. They had a globetrotting series. I don't remember which countries were represented there either. The only ones I remember are Germany and Egypt. Sorry :(
