Question...I thought I saw a food review on this board showing foods from the Fall Food & wine festival that had prices for the individual items the reviewer tried at the Food & Wine event. Then I was recently reading an article in a magazine about saving money at amusement parks, and they mentioned the Epcot Food & Wine festival as a way to save money at the Park-the implication was that they were all free samples? Which is it--do you pay for the items or are they free samples? Thanks

No free samples, except from some select wine and beer tastings. Maybe they were referring to saving money over a whole meal.

Here is a link to a set of pictures on the DIS showing what was offered last year. The prices are also listed.

Although the booths don't offer free samples there are many special events that will be free of charge and do sometimes have free samples for those who participate. Ex: The History of Beer by Sam Adams and in past years the Korbel Champagne workshop both offered samples. There are more, but no one will know for certain what will be offered until the 2008 event listings come out.

One good thing about the F&W Festival as far as the samples go, if you are on the DP you can use your snack credits for them. :goodvibes

DH and i sample something (or more than one something!) from every booth, and even with the DDP snack credits, it adds up! $$$$$
