Wondering when you enter the world showcase do you start to the left towards Mexico or head to the right towards Canada?
I've always headed left and I'm thinking of going right for the first time ever and I think It might feel very strange.

Easy. Spend 2 days at Epcot. :) Switch direction -- It's like a whole new park.

I guess the first time we went, we went right first. (Canada). So that way seems forward to me. We've gone the other way, but it feels we're going backwards then.

I've noticed that people tend to follow US driving directions. When you turn right, you're closer to the WS. If you turn left, you're mostly walking along the water.

We tend to go right when coming from FW because Mexico always looks so crowded.

We have always started in Mexico. 2 trips back, I had the nerve to convince my family to start from the other side. I'm pretty sure DH has not recovered yet. He is a creature of habit. I'm pretty sure he would walk all the way from the International Gateway to Mexico without stopping anywhere just so he could start at Mexico.

I almost always go left to hit the rides first and then cruise the rest of the way.

There is no right (or left) answer. We almost always enter through the IG. When we do that and head toward FW, when it is time to go to WS, we almost always start on the Mexico side. We don't plan it that way. It is not intentional. It just works out that way. I suppose you could chalk it up to the fact that since our day will no doubt end with us walking back to the IG from WS, by starting on the Mexico side, we know that we will complete the full circle. The other reason might be because when we start to head to WS, if anyone is famished and cannot take another step before getting food, Mexico is a better place to start than Canada/UK.

If we enter through the IG later in the day with the intention of only doing WS that day, we always start with Canada, since it is right there.

I'm just a wild and crazy gal, never know which way I'll go. I don't usually go any certain way, it's according to what I'm aiming at. Am I going back to the IG, in which case I go through Canada way or am I just wandering around? Did I wander around yesterday and hit things on one side but not the other? Did I wander around yesterday and go all the way around? Did I forget something I needed to buy smack dab in the middle? Am I coming from the IG and dying for some pastry? Just depends.

When entering via the IG we go left, when coming through FW we go right because the 'ride' shown below is our first stop.

I was gonna say depending on what you want to do or drink first. Guinness :drinking1vs Margarita :cool2:

Just the thought if this thread has me cracking up and then the realization that I've only ever gone left and have no clue why cracked me up more. Gonna have to live on the wild side next trip and experience the wonders of turning right

Just answer this question - is it too early for a tequila flight?

If you answered "Uhhh yes... I haven't even had lunch yet!" then go right into Canada.
If you answered "No such thing, I'm on vacation!" then go left into Mexico and proceed directly to La Cava.

Generally speaking, we head left first. I have found that the countries to the left tend to have things going earlier than the countries on the right (as far as the times of shows, etc).

No - don't tell anyone else about La Cava. :tiptoe: It's getting too hard to get inside!!

We always head left first on our first visit. If we visit on another day and are heading to a specific country pavilion to see a character or for a dining reservation that is closer to the right, we'll go right.

Unless we have a specific objective/deadline in mind, we alternate. Some days we go left, some days we go right. It keeps us from getting dizzy.:faint:

Going through the IG we always take a left for a quick stop at Rose and Crown:)
