Last year when we were there my oldest son (age 7 at the time) loved getting his passport stamped in each country and making the masks for the Tapestry Parade in the evening.

I know that Norway and Mexico have the boat rides and America has the show with Ben Franklin....but is there any other new activities for children?

We don't want to do the passport thing again...any thoughts or suggestions?

My boys are now 8 & 3 1/2..........:bounce: :smooth:

My four year old liked playing in the Viking ship in Norway. They also might like some of the outdoor entertainment at the various pavilions, like Living Statues in Italy. You just have to make sure you time it right which we didn't do a great job doing. Maybe they would enjoy a meal at one of the restaurants with entertainment. Germany has a band and Morocco has a belly dancer. Again, you have to time it right because I don't think they perform all the time. We did the masks without the passports which is cheaper and they still get a stamp!

My kids don't care if they do the same thing over and over everytime we go, they LOVE the worldshowcase, and they specifically request Maelstrom ALL THE TIME. My youngest had a blast at the Biergarten the day we had dinner there, so much with the band that she forgot to eat, she was having so much fun dancing with the band that she didn't eat. She took us to France right after , to the Boulangerie, that's her favorite restaurant she says, LOL.
She loves the outside entertainment, the living statues , I can't tell you how many times we watched them.

We love watching the candy maker in Japan. It is amazing! If your son can get near the front he might be able get one for free. My DD 9 can't wait till we go back to make her 3rd mask at the Kidcot stations.

Sometimes I think we underestimate our children, especially the really young ones. Now I am worried that my 3 year old will get antsy waiting in line at Fantasyland, but I really think he will like all the touring in the World Showcase. Hopefully he'll be able to run around a little and not spend so much time in the stroller. There will be so much for him to see. And it's all new to him! He definitely has his faults, but being bored is never one of them. I just hope he doesn't run off from us when he sees something that excites him.

My kids love WS too! Last year they came home with the best Masks from the KidCot stations. They really make cool show and tell items at school. The kids get such a kick out of making them. Plus we saw so many Characters (especially last year). I think it's part of the new MORE characters in the parks. At one of the KidCot stations, Pooh and Piglet interacted with the kids. It was so much fun!
