::MickeyMoOur family is going to the World in Sep 2016...yayay!! :donald: We cannot wait!

Last year was my kids' first time at WDW...all 3 of them...DD7, DS4, and DD2...loved every minute, but they were somewhat disappointed with Epcot. They enjoyed it, but not nearly on the same level as the other parks. Granted, we missed some key points like Turtle Talk, but I was wondering: do you have any suggestions for making Epcot "more fun" for little children?

I guess I'm mostly wondering for the 2 littles, since my DD7 LOVES to shop and was content with WS and Soarin'! Thanks for the help.:disrocks:

Our kids enjoy doing some Kidcot activities, but really LOVE Agent P's World Showcase Adventure. The kids (7 & 4) wanted to go back a second day to do it again.

The Agent P game, kidcot stations, and the World Showcase Passport make that part of the park more fun for kids.

Did you explore everything? There's a lot to Epcot. We stop and play a lot too. After you get off Figment's ride there is a fun play area. Another one at Mission Space. The maze in England.

Epcot has stepped up ther game with characters, especially in WS. The Agent P game and Kidcot activities are a lot of fun.

No, we didn't explore as much as I'd like us to....next trip we'll have to! I had actually forgotten about the maze. My first trip, in High School, we met the Sheriff of Nottingham there! Cool stuff. Will need to go back and find it again.

Thanks everyone for posting! I appreciate the help.

My boys love Epcot. We do the kidcot, get a passport and they get a stamp. They like talking to the people at each one about their country. Also, the Agent P game. We do pressed pennies too and they like to get them from each country every time.

There are some neat shows in the countries and just exploring them takes up a lot of time. Plus, trying different treats from the countries!

My kids have always loved Epcot. Mostly bc they like the few rides there and my older sons fav ride use to be Test Track until he rode Space Mountain that is lol. My older son liked the Kid Cot stops and also liked looking at the different stores and world showcase to see different things at each country. He especially loved the Japan Pavilion. Hes recently gotten into Anime so seeing all the pokemon stuff and sailor moon stuff got him really excited. We also saw Aladdin & Jasmine, Mulan, and Duffy at Epcot and he enjoyed standing in those lines more than the character lines at Magic Kingdon (probably bc he made a little friend and they were meeting the same characters we were meeting at the same time). Epcot has always been 1 of our fav parks. They also have playgrounds to play on there which is another big hit. We always make Epcot at least a 2 day park.

We took DD last year when she was 5. We spent a couple hours in Innovations. She loved playing The Great Piggy Bank Adventure and a few of the other games they have there (like the house fire one with families playing against each other!) she was also a huge fan of the WS Passport. She insisted that we had to finish it, and we had a blast finishing it up Canada thru Italy in an hour running from Kidcotmto Kidcot. It made it special for her, and she still talks about it a year later.

WS has so much for kids now - Kidcot, Agent P, Passports. My kids had a blast. They also loved Figment and spent a LOT of time at the play area in Mission Space.

My boys have loved Epcot since they were little. We have always had that be a two park day for us, there really is so much to do if you take your time. The passports in World Showcase are so cute. I made them myself using designs from the creative DISigns section. The kids love getting their passports filled out with messages in another language. They always loved bringing them to school when we got back to show their classes.

We also spend a lot of time in the Seas building after riding Nemo. There is so much to do in there. They love Turtle Talk, playing by the Bruce statue, watching the animals, and the interactive computer game about sharks. After the Figment ride there are a bunch of cute things for them to play with also. There are a few things to do after Mission Space also. Even if you don't ride it, you can go in through the gift shop and go by the playground and computer games. We used to love the Great Piggy Bank Adventure too, but I think that closed.

In World Showcase we love the Agent P game. We play it multiple times each trip. It is really cute! We also like doing the passports, getting snacks from different countries, the Kidcot Fun Stops, seeing different characters, and watching then entertainment in the various countries. Their favorite is watching Sergio in Italy. There is so much to do there!

Epcot grew on my kids with each trip. It went from "The Boring Park" our first vacation, to one of their favorites. My husband and I love Epcot, so there was no question we would go to it at least twice during the week. Now there are days where my kids tell me it's their favorite park.
