Epcot was crazy today

So here is my experience this day.

I made my fast pass reservations in advanced. Booked my room months in advanced. 10:am we set off. Arrived at Epcot, Took 15 mins to get into the bus drop off area. Took 15 mins to get through bag check. Took 1 min to get into the park. Park was already crazy busy full but got even more busier by 3pm.

I walked over to France and was able to walk in and get a table with no reservations. They said everyone was eating the outside vendor food and they were not busy. Yay! I then changed my fast passes, we wanted to leave Epcot due to the crowds, and I was able to make fast passes for Peter Pan, space mountain and splash mountain that night. Yay!! Also rode the people mover And the carolsul of progress. During the fireworks no one was in line for haunted mansion so went just walked right in with no waiting. I also was able to get a nap at the resort between parks. That was amazing and an awesome birthday weekend. Everything worked out great. Plus it was cool out and I didn't sweat to death and my hair looked great all day and night. Yay!

Were also at WDW from Nov 8th to the 14th. On Saturday the 12th, we arrived early at MK, parking in the MK lot. Not rope drop early, but just early enough for standby haircuts for my DD & DS at Harmony before our 10:15 Crystal Palace breakfast reservation. (We didn't want to rush out too early, since we had closed DHS the night before after 8 PM-10PM EMH.) After breakfast, we decided to park hop to Epcot via the monorail, as I was leery of the potential for parking problems at Epcot, and it looks like I was right. At Epcot, we used our FP+ for FEA; visited Anna & Elsa; Grand Fiesta ride at Mexico; FP+ on Mission Space (grabbed a child swap pass, but didn't use it, as my DS just used his sister's MB); Universe of Energy; and then FP+ on Spaceship Earth.

Then we ate. A snack first from the Australia kiosk at F & W, but then avoided the rest of F & W due to the lines. For dinner, we carried a to go order from the China pavilion to eat at the American pavilion, where the rest of our party was ordering dinner. Then we bought some pastries from the French pavilion, and completed our walk around the World showcase. We closed the Seas pavilion with the Nemo ride and the aquarium exhibits, but had time to meet Joy and Sadness right at closing. We left during Illuminations, which we had previously thought about attending that night, but decided not to attend in order to get to sleep at a "reasonable" hour.

Crowded at Epcot for sure, but manageable. We only avoided Test Track on the 12th since we knew we had to ride standby, and the wait time never dropped. We came back the next night after a day at AK to ride TT via standby (45 mins), and also Figment for the last time on the trip, which is a must for us!

The 12th was a little crazy at Epcot. It was easy for me to point out to the kids examples of people unable to handle their liquor...the environment was obnoxiously target rich.
