Yes it will, I am one of the few who wanted it to stay.

Got passporter news this morning it says "The removal is expected to be complete by October 1, 2007"

Bit of a shame really. It was nice looking up and seeing the surface of the red letters rippling in the breeze. Still, I am sure they know what they are doing, they rarely let us down now do they?

Not so good, but it was before the days of Digital and, well, I don't seem to have many pictures of the golf ball, I have more video of it than pictures (the earliest picture I have 1989 is not worth putting up as the ball fades int the grey background)

I also liked the wand, it made it not look like a golf ball so much. It will now seem naked without the wand.

Such a shame.

Nope I hated the wand. It completely ruined the whole point of the ball and what it represented. Disney just had to Disneify it and ruin it. I wish I could personally smash it all up to little pieces when it comes down (think they will let me?)

As for the ball, thats what Disney are about, Fun, OTT. They aren't a science museum. I hope they put something else there in next few years. A big Mickey peeping over the top maybe
