Now that Moana is almost ready for cast previews, have they taken down all or some of the construction walls?

I was there just last weekend and the walls are as annoying as ever. The opening of Moana will not be the completion of all EPCOT construction in that area. My understanding is some walls will still be around. Meanwhile that park down the road will complete a new theme park in less time.

Walls probably won’t come down until Communicore Hall is completed. Hopefully by October 1 but don’t think anything has been announced.

Was there yesterday. All walls are still in place.

CM preview signups started this week. I wonder when the previews start? That might mean they start to come down then?

Is that all that is left wall-wise?
Good question. I haven’t been in the park in a couple weeks but I believe the walls are now only around the Journey of Water area and the Communicore Hall area. They might keep the walls around the JOW area until previews are done.

The two remaining World Celebration Neighborhood's are set to open in December.

All walls should be down at the opening!

Still a lot of walls covering the central area. No real change there. Looking forward to our next trip without walls

Does this mean that you still can't cross the park easily? I was hoping with Moana opening that it would be easier to go from Guardians to the Living Seas.

Unfortunately there still is not a clear path across the centre. It's not quite as bad as before but still cumbersome.

We were there in early December when the Moana area began CM previews and it has no affect on getting around the park. It is actually a small percentage of the total construction being done.

From what I saw from the monorail there is still a lot of work to be done. As in the biggest structures behind the wall were still metal framing and that's it. Hopefully the walls come down by the end of the year but I doubt that the new attractions will be open. There's just too much work to do.
