Epcot view from BWV

Are there Epcot views from the rooms, if so what can be seen? Which view do you think is better, Epcot or BW and why?

To me, the BW view and the EPCOT view are pretty much the same thing. Actually, IMHO, none of the BWV rooms have much of an EPCOT view.

From the rooms overlooking the BW, you can see the top of Spaceship Earth and the higher level fireworks from Illuminations.
These rooms are among those considered "preferred" view. From these rooms you also have views of the Boardwalk, Crescent Lake, and the Hotels around the lake - BC, YC, Dolphin and Swan.

There are some "standard" view rooms that also have views of the higher level fireworks from Illuminations. (Actually, you have to be inside EPCOT, standing around the lagoon to see more than the higher level fireworks/lasers from Illuminations). These rooms overlook the BWV/BWI entrance driveway and the parking lots, but there is quite a bit of nice landscaping between the rooms and the "blacktop" areas. These rooms do have a view of the rooftops of France, but there are lots of trees between the BWI/BWV hotels and WS.

Since the standard view rooms require less points to reserve, my family prefers them. From what others have posted, BW view rooms are the most frequently requested.

When we stayed at BWV, we had a one bedroom with an awesome view of Tower of Terror at MGM. I had requested boardwalk and was sad at check-in when I was told it wasn't available, but to this date, that MGM view remains my favorite of all.

Just to be certain it is clear, for preferred view rooms (about 80% of all rooms), boardwalk view and Epcot view are exactly the same thing as those units that overlook the boardwalk face toward Epcot; the other preferreds face MGM or S/D. Higher level (4th and 5th floor) standard views that overlook the roadway leading to the entrance can see upper level Epcot fireworks but otherwise the BWI obstructs the view of Epcot there.
