EPCOT transportation ??

I have late ADR in EPCOT (8:50 p.m.) and wondered the best way to get back to my resort, POFQ, with the greatest ease AND minimal cost. I know the restaurants seat right up until park closing, but don't busses stop running about an hour after closing hour. Assuming we'll miss the last bus back, does anyone have a recommendation? (And, how will we know if we, in fact, missed the last bus? Can the host at the restaurant assist us?)

One other related question ... I know you can take a Friendship Taxi boat between the International Gateway entrance to EPCOT and MGM, but how long is the trip? (I think it stops about several resorts along the way.) Is this efficient, or a waste of time?

You should have no problem getting a direct bus from Epcot to your resort even after a late dinner. Illuminations starts at 9pm and runs about 20 minutes, then it takes almost a full 90 minutes after Illuminations to clear the park of all guests. The last bus leaves the Epcot bus area when security announces Epcot all clear, not until. You will not be left!!

I have spent many evenings after Illuminations sitting by the dancing fountain watching it for an hour or more, and I have NEVER missed a bus ride.
