Just my observation at Epcot today. Social distancing is a joke. Sorry but its hard for me to take Disney seriously when Epcot is a mess and people packed. Groups of people don't bother me, but all the BS covid measures that Disney has to enter and walk around and because of an Arts festival everything is out the door. Disney should be embarrassed.

I'm at Epcot, as well, today, and I haven't seen the issues you are describing, at all. People are doing well with social distancing and going where they should and not going where they shouldn't.
I'm sorry everything in the country areas is packed.

There are areas where it is virtually impossible to social distance, noticed it on both my Thanksgiving and Christmas trips with the festivals in WS. However, Disney can only do so much, people do have to have some personal responsibility. My DH and I learned not to hang around Germany, France, Norway, or Mexico for extended periods. Just keep walking. If there is food or something you want, grab and go, it's not that hard. Also, today is the first day of the festival so it's going to be crowded, it means all the vloggers are out, I'm sure it'll settle down a bit after this weekend (I never like going first weekend of a festival for this reason, even in pre-covid times)

Social distancing is not always possible hence why masks are worn.

If social distancing is one's top priority I would find it a bit peculiar for said person to choose to enter a theme park at the present moment.
Never said it bothered me. Just stated that it's a joke with all the theater that Disney is putting on. All the lines for social distancing but it all goes out the door. Only enforced when its convenient to Disney, hence why I said it's a joke.

As most things it comes down to individual responsibility. Disney will never have enough cast members to stand in between everyone and enforce a six foot barrier. They would need people following around everyone in the parks! And how could they possibly pay for that? If you want an isolated experience I wouldn’t go to Disney during a pandemic. People want to feel that someone is taking care of them every minute of every day. Personal decisions must be made to determine if this vacation is right for me at this time

I went to Epcot on a Saturday afternoon during Food & Wine and it was very crowded. I would not go on a weekend during a festival again during the pandemic. But, I do agree that I went with the understanding that it is WDW after all, so at least some crowds will come as part of the territory and it all comes down to your personal tolerance/risk assessment. FWIW - no problems after the fact, but again, I blame myself for not picking a less crowded time to visit.
