we didn't spend on anything, not even snacks. And it wasn't like we denied ourselves anything. Kids had snacks in their bags. We went home for lunch and ate a late dinner at Sweet Tomatoes. 6 of us had dinner for $46 with their coupon. Hope the rest of the week stays like this, my kds didn't even ask to go into one store!

Good for you! We were in Epcot last week and it was our most expensive day. We only ate at Norway but the bill was over $200 with tip. I nearly died. A four inch round children's pizza was over $20.00. Oh well - we got five minutes with four princesses. Never again!

Luckily, our kids didn't ask for anything and we carried snacks too! I wish we had done the Castle instead as the food wasn't great at Norway but we like to try a different character meal each year.

Good for you! I don't know that I could have resisted the fish & chips or the chocolate croissant or the yakitori!!

You said you went "home" for lunch. But it looks like home for you is NY! Where did you go for lunch?

we rented a house in Windsor Hills with my family. So we ate there. Never left the park midday before for the nap break but now I'm a convert. Doing the same thing today.

Doing WS tonight, can't imagine not buying treats there!

Wow on Norway, that's a lot.

Oh! I was looking at some places in Windsor Hills. You will have to post how you like it there when you get back.

This is our second time. Love it and can't recommend it enough. So much room to spread out, great rental prices, the private pool, so close to WDW. My kids spend every free second in the pool. I like the quiet after a long park day.

Good for you! We don't spend a lot, but dh HAS to have his Diet Coke in the afternoon and the kids save all of our change for Mickey bars and treats, so we don't spend a lot...... have never spent NOTHING, though! Way to go!

I stayed off site in February and I truly think it is so much easier now to get on premises at WDW. I remember a few years ago, all the road construction was horrendous. Now all roads are 3 lanes of fun, and the traffic isn't bad. I think the only time I saw traffic was on Friday evening. There was a slight back-up of cars, getting off I4 and getting off exist ramp 68. Other than that, it was very easy navigation. I stayed near Sea World, and it only took 10 minutes to go to Disney Studios, and the Magic Kingdom.

I have no problem walking into the parks and not dropping a dime. Good meal before and after, with snacks in a bag and I'm set. Maybe cause I go there too often.
